picking up luggageOct 2, 201210Flying on SW need to pick up luggage and get rental car in a hurry are they close?Maryposted on Mon, Oct 1The three terminals at SLC surround the parking garage; and are connected to each other and to their concourses on level 2. On rrival at SLC pick up your bags at the baggage claim, then cross over to the parking garage which has on the lower level the rental car booths.tuoct12posted on Tue, Oct 2

changing airlines and collectin baggageAug 13, 201212i am coming in on southwest and flying out on delta. is there going to be complications collecting luggage and getting checked in on delta how much ground will i hav to covergrlposted on Mon, Aug 131 person likes this post [ Like ]At SLC you arrive via Southwest at Terminal 1, Concourse B (B gates). Your first order of business should be to find out if Southwest will transfer your bag to the Delta connecting flight - if not, you need to take your bag to the connecting terminal and check it in with Delta. Dta uss B, C, D & E gates (T1 has A&B gates, T2 has C gates for Delta only, and the International Terminal has D & E gates). Your ticket and the overhead screen on arrival will indicate gate number & time). The terminals are connected to each other and concourses and gates are easily reached from level 2. International arrivals: Unless you have gone through US customs clearance at participating airports in Canada and the Caribbean, you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes).moaug12posted on Mon, Aug 131 person likes this post [ Like ]

Keep on walking...Jul 19, 201200I bought a latte right off the plane. It was okay. My first cup of the day, so anything would have worked. The girl at the counter was terribly rude. Bought another cup at Seattle's Best, a night and day difference. Fabulous coffee! If you have the time, go to starbucks or seattles best. Millcreek was swill in comparison.Jennyposted on Thu, Jul 19

Terminal 2Jun 11, 201210I am flying Delta into t-2, and then departing to Vegas. Does anyone know if the Delta flights departing are in the same terminal/conclude?Randy Fposted on Mon, Jun 11SLC has two domestic terminals - Terminal 1 with Concourses A & B; Terminal 2 with Concourse C. Delta uses Concourses B & C with corresponding gates, (i.e., B18) - The terminals are connected to each other and concourses and gates are easily reached from level 2.mojun12posted on Mon, Jun 11

How quick to ConnectApr 25, 201220Looking into purchasing a ticket with a brief 35 min layover at SLC enroute to Orlando. How busy is this airport? Do they have a train like Atlanta to get b/t concourses? I could take an earlier flight, which gives me a 2 1/2 hr layover, but wanted some advice from fellow travelers at SLC. Thanksshoeposted on Tue, Mar 13Domestic Terminals: Terminal 1 has Concourse A (American, Continental, Continental Express, Frontier, & JetBlue, US Airways & US Airways Express) and gates A1-8; and on Concourse B (Delta & Southwest) gates B1-18. Terminal 2 (Delta) has Concourse C and gates C1-13 - The terminals are connected to each other and concourses and gates are easily reached from level 2.wemar12posted on Wed, Mar 14Is it likely to make a connecting flight departuring from terminal 2 if arriving 30 minutes prior at terminal/concourse B? Any additional security check to go through? Walking or other transportation? Estimated time to walk from extreme far point at concourse B to Terminal 2?tloftlofposted on Wed, Apr 25
