Hello. I'm a little nervous about the short amount of time I have on my layover in SLC. I arrive on Delta Airlines (not sure of what terminals for any of this) at 3:29 p.m. and my flight departs to Paris (CDG) at 4:55. Will I be ok as long as everything is on time arriving into SLC? Kinda worried!
SLC only has one terminal. You have plenty of time. If your first flight is a domestic flight all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Hi, I'm an irish citizen travelling from Paris, France to San Diego via SLC. Both flights are Delta. Arriving SLC 1.52pm, departing 3.10pm. No checked baggage. Will I have sufficient time to make my connecting flight? Many thanks for your help.
Yes, that is enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi, We are flying from WYS into SLC arriving 12:21 pm on Delta, but need to depart to HNL on United at 1:50 pm. If the Delta flight is on time is this possible with 2 checked bags? Thank you!
United doesn't fly from SLC to Honolulu. I assume you're flying somewhere else first? If so it's possible if the flight from West Yellowstone is on-time, but leaves no time to spare as you will have to transfer your bags between airlines yourself.
Sorry I wasn't clear - yes, the United leg is SLC to SFO to HNL. Thanks so much for your feedback!
I am flying from Denver international to SLC and have 50 minutes to make it to my connection flight to LHR.... is that enough time to make the flight? And do I have to go through security and customs again?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is no US Customs when leaving the US.
My minor son has food allergies and will be flying Delta unaccompanied. Layover is over 3 hours at the Delta is in Terminal 2, but allergy friendly restaurant is in terminal 1, does he have to go through security to go back and forth between terminals?
We are traveling home from Cancun to Portland, OR with a connection in SLC. The flight only gives us 70 minutes to clear customs and make our connection. Thoughts as to how risky this is? Obviously there is always a risk of having the first flight delayed, but assuming it is on time - is 70 minutes even feasible? Do you have to go back through normal security after clearing customs at SLC?
That should be enough time. Immigration and Customs is not crowded at SLC. Yes, you will go through the normal security line after clearing customs.
