SFO Inter-terminal Train

AirTrain AirTrain is an automated people mover system, connects SFO's terminals, terminal parking garages, BART Train Station and Rental Car Center with convenient frequent service. AirTrain has two lines: the Red Line, a short loop that serves both the Domestic and International Terminals and terminal garages; and the Blue Line, a longer loop that connects the terminals and terminal garages with SFO's Rental Car Center. Domestic Terminals 1, 2 and 3 each have an AirTrain station located on Level 5 of the Domestic Parking Garage. Terminal 3's station connects to the terminal via a passenger skybridge; to access the Terminal 1 and 2 stations, please use the tunnel connector to the parking garage. The International Terminal has two AirTrain stations.
Location: Located one level above the Departures Level at both ends of the Main Hall. The International Parking Garages (Garage A and Garage G) each have an AirTrain station that is accessed from Levels 7 and 8.
Notes: Luggage carts are allowed on AirTrain, for your safety, please secure the hand brake on the cart. All AirTrain stations and cars are wheelchair accessible.

San Francisco SFO Airport Shuttle & Shared Ride Overview

Often the cheapest way to get to and from San Francisco airport, shuttle vans often offer a cost effective alternative to taking a taxi. Typically, San Francisco airport shuttle services use large passenger vans and provide pickup service from your home, hotel, or office to (or from) SFO airport. You share the ride, and hence much of the cost, with fellow travelers in your immediate area.

Another option is to reserve a private-ride van, useful for larger families or groups. The ultimate experience is to arrive to San Francisco airport in a sedan or limo. Sedans are typically Lincoln Towncar-type vehicles that accommodate 2-3 passengers, while limos can be as long as buses and hold an entire bachelorette party.
