We are flying into SFO from Mexico City and then home to Orange County with a 1:45 hr. window. Both flights are United Airlines. Is that enough time to go through immigration and make it to our next flight?
ZAP6 hr ago
Yes, that should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I will be flying on United from Houston (IAH) to SFO, arriving at 9:40PM from Terminal C; and then transit SFO to Sydney on United at 10:35PM from Terminal 1. Will the 55 minutes transit time be sufficient to travel from Terminal C to T1. Thanks a lot.
Terminal C is your departure terminal from Houston. You will arrive in Terminal 3 in San Francisco and depart from the International Terminal concourse G. They are connected inside security. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if the flight from Houston is on-time.
I'm looking at a flight from Frankfurt to SFO, and then 2 hours later a connecting flight to Las Vegas. The international flight is aboard a A380. We would have checked bags and the immigration & customs to go through. Seems like a pretty narrow window... Is it worth taking the risk?
That is possible if both flights are on the same reservation and the first flight is on-time.
We are flying into San Francisco on united then connecting onto another united flight to Cancun. We obviously arrive at the international terminal but I think the Cancun flight is from terminal 3. Do we have to clear security for this? Thanks
The Cancun flight will depart from the International Terminal as well. Where are you flying into San Francisco from?
Sydney AU but on my itinerary it says the cancun flight was from terminal 3 which surprised me.
I am flying on united from PHIL to SFO arriving at 2146 in T3, and then SFO to Singapore on United at 2250 from T1. Will the 1hr transit time be sufficient to travel from T3 to T1.
You do not depart from T1, you depart from the International Terminal. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is a walkway inside security between T3 and concourse G of the International Terminal. You have enough time.
Travelling on Qantas to SFO, landing at 9.30am but need to get to Kansas City. Have the option of booking Americal Airlines with one stop (with the advantage the AA is a One World Partner and the luggage is tagged) or booking a direct flight with United. Prefer the United option which departs at 1.18pm. Will I make this connection with transfers and checking in luggage for the domestic route?
