Can I do this?Jun 6, 201310Arriving terminal 3 (UA) and leaving terminal 1 (SkyWest) 60 min later. Will have to go thru security again into term 1? Is this going to go smoothly?DCposted on Thu, Jun 6You don't know for sure which terminals your flights will be using until the day before your flight. However, if you do have to change from 3 to 1, United runs a shuttle on the secure side of the airport so you won't have to go through security again. http://www.united.com/web/en-US/content/travel/airport/maps/sfo.aspxZAPposted on Thu, Jun 6

SorryJun 6, 201310Sorry, I got the terminals mixed up. I am arriving form PDX at SFO terminal 3 and leaving from terminal 1 to Paris. It looks like you can walk there without going through security. Is 45 minutes enough?aandccyoungposted on Wed, May 29

Terminal 1 to BARTMay 23, 201310I am flying in on US Airways into Terminal 1. How long will it take to get to the BART Station?pthposted on Thu, May 23The AirTrain connects the Terminals and to the Bart system. Terminal 2 has a pedestrian bridge to the AirTrain, connecting to BART system; International Terminal's AirTrain station is near Boarding Area G, and Terminal 1's AirTrain station is near boarding area B. Can't tell you how long it takes.thmay13posted on Thu, May 23

50 min de connecting timeMay 4, 201310Will l have to run for it or it can be done at a regular pace.QuebecCVQposted on Fri, May 3As YQB does not seem to have US customs clearance, you would need, on arrival at SFO, have to go through passport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance & then re-check in your bags. This alone can take anywhere from 30 to 50 minutes. Where you arrive & depart will depend on the airline(s) you take. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/sfo then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text, including transfers.samay13posted on Sat, May 4

My connection time is only 50 minutesMay 3, 201320I am about to book flights from LIH to Québec via SFO and Toronto. I will be flying United domestically, then onward on United ( operate by Air Canada) for my international flights. My connection time is only 50 minutes; it looks like I will arrive in Terminal 3 and depart from Terminal A. From what I am reading, it sounds like this connection time might be doable, but I know situations in airports often change. Can someone tell me if this is a feasible connection? Thanks.QuebecCVQposted on Fri, May 3

MEX via UA 头SFO connecting China EasterApr 17, 201310I will fly from MEX to SFO via UA, and then connect to SHanghai via China Eastern. I know that I need to claim my baggage and go to a Connecting Baggage Desk. Just want to know if I can drop my baggage in this desk for connecting China Eastern Airline, or I need to go to another China Eastern airline check in counter, which I don't know where.gaoxyposted on Wed, Apr 17China Eastern hasn't started service to SFO yet, so it's not entirely clear what they'll have there, but if the re-check desk at SFO won't take your bags, then you will just have to take them up to the departures level of the same terminal you're already in (the International Terminal) and find the China Eastern counter.ZAPposted on Wed, Apr 17
