I will be landing in SFO (INTL terminal) on a UA Flight (operated by Air Canada) from Toronto. My connecting UA flight leaves from terminal 3 to Hawaii. If both tickets are purchased together will I need to retrieve/re-check my bags? Also, as this is the first time I've been able to do pre-clearance, is there a separate line to bypass immigration/customs once landed in SFO?

Thank you for your time.
Everyone on your flight pre-clears US Immigration and Customs in Toronto and therefore the arrival is like a domestic flight. You can just walk to your departure gate.
Hi,
I have a flight from Sydney to Seattle, with a layover in SFO. I know the layover is not long enough to catch my next flight from SFO to Seattle, but do I retrieve my luggage in SFO after my flight from Sydney, and then go through customs with my luggage in SFO? Or is my luggage continued automatically to Seattle without me retrieving it in SFO? Thanks
Yes, you have to retrieve your bags in SFO to take them through US Customs.
my flight from Tokyo, arrived SFO at 9:20am, and next flight to Toronto at 10:40am, is there enough time to go though everything to connect my next flight in one hour and 20 minutes?
No, that is not realistically enough time.
All United flight. Is 1 hr 15 min connection enough?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Arriving SFO domestic flight from Phoenix at 9:38am on American Air. Have separate ticket to get to Asiana airline and check in for flight to Seoul with departure of 12:40 pm. Is this enough time?
Yes, that should be enough time.
We're non U.S residents arriving at SFO on QF from Sydney at 9:30am with a departing flight to SJD on Virgin America at 11:45am (separate bookings), with no checked luggage Is this sufficient time to clear customs and immigration, transit between terminals and pass through security to the gate?
Yes, with no checked luggage that is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Is 46 minutes enough time to get from United Domestic to United International?
Yes, all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Arriving SF from Sydney on UA terminal 1, departing SF UA terminal 3. I have 2 hrs between flights will this be enough time to go through customs, immigrations etc? Also would walking or catching the shuttle be quicker?
You do not arrive in Terminal 1. You arrive in the International Terminal. You have enough time. it is fastest to walk.
My 95-year-old parents are arriving SFO on United (guessing Terminal 3, Course E, Gate 60s-ish) and have a 52 minute layover before their Hawaiian Airlines flight (guessing from the International Terminal, Boarding Area A, Gates 1-12). They will probably be the last off their plane. They walk v-e-r-y slowly. I advised that they take the AirTrain, Red Line. 1) Sound correct? 2) Can they do it in 15 minutes, so there's time for a potty break? 3) Do they need to go through security again? Thank you! I appreciate any help or advice!!
Yes, they have to go through security again. They probably don't have enough time. You or they really shouldn't have booked this tight of a connection.
