I am planning to go from Vancouver, BC to Seattle via Amtrak before catching my flight to SFO and connecting to OGG. The connecting flight between SFO and OGG is 71 minutes apart. Is this practical? And would I have to still go through immigration, customs, check in, and security again when all my flights are domestic?
There is no Immigration or customs on Domestic flights. You will go through security in Seattle but if both flights are on the same airline you won't have to in San Francisco. You will be checked in for both flights in Seattle if both flights are on the same reservation.
I am arriving at SFO International airport at 0915hrs. After going through the procedure of picking up luggage, going through customs and immigration, do I have even time to reach Terminal 3 at 1047hrs, for a domestic flight to Minneapolis International airport?
That's barely enough time if both flights are on the same reservation and everything goes smoothly.
I have a flight from LAX to SFO, then from SFO to Heathrow. All on United. UA changed my flight today. Wondering if there is enough time for me to transfer, as it's only 51 minutes.
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do in SFO is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is a walkway inside security from T3 where you arrive to concourse G of the International Terminal where you depart.
Hi, im travelling from Singapore to Chicago and connecting flight at SFO with Virgin Air which is a code share flight with SIA. Do i need to claim my luggage and re-check in at the immigration if im travelling on business class?
Yes, everyone needs to claim their baggage to go through US Customs when entering the US.
