How long does it take to travel from Terminal 2 to International terminal, are the terminal buildings connected??
It takes about 10-15 minutes on the AirTrain and then you have to go through security again in the International Terminal.
Arriving from Redding CA, headed to Seattle, with only 36 minutes of layover? Both flights are United but would they be in the same terminal? Will I have enough time?
Yes, they are both in Terminal 3. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time but no time to spare.
Hi, i will be coming from OGG(hawaii) at 6:30 AM (United) to San Francisco to Denver, my flight is at 7:00 AM. With only a 30 minute layover, is that doable? All of this is United.
It is possible if the flight from Maui is on-time.
Do we have to collect our baggage and re-check in again? How far is the walk and are there carts or porters to assist?
Yes, you will have to claim your bags to take them through US customs, There are carts in the International baggage claim.
Is there enough time to go through customs? On a Sunday arrive SFO from Paris at 11:45 AM connecting to domestic flight SFO to SNA at 1:05 PM both flights booked on United - same ticket. Second choice is 4 hour layover
Realistically 80 minutes is not enough time.
Arriving Alaska Airlines from Portland Oregon to connect with a Virgin Airlines flight to NYC. directions please in the terminal.
You will arrive in the International Terminal and depart from Terminal 2. Follow directions from Alaska Airlines on how to get between them.
Hi. I am flying from EWR on United arriving @ 9:40AM. I have a connecting flight to Haneda departing @ 11:00AM. Do I have sufficient time to make the connecting flight ? Thanks.
Yes, all you have to do in SFO is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Is the international departures terminal a separate bldg or is it connected to the domestic terminal bldg?
Concourse G of the International Terminal is connected to Terminal 3 where United domestic flights arrive by a walkway inside security.
I have a united flight from Vancouver to SFO with a 41 minute lay over time before going to hawaii. Will I have enough time?
Yes, that is enough time as you will pre-clear US immigration and Customs in Vancouver all you have to do in San Francisco is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I am planning to go from Vancouver, BC to Seattle via Amtrak before catching my flight to SFO and connecting to OGG. The connecting flight between SFO and OGG is 71 minutes apart. Is this practical? And would I have to still go through immigration, customs, check in, and security again when all my flights are domestic?
There is no Immigration or customs on Domestic flights. You will go through security in Seattle but if both flights are on the same airline you won't have to in San Francisco. You will be checked in for both flights in Seattle if both flights are on the same reservation.
Hi, arriving on an International flight at 1255, then transferring to a domestic flight at 1430. Do we have enough time to get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2?
Thanks.
You will arrive in the International Terminal, not Terminal 1. What airline are you flying out on? Are both flights on the same reservation? That's a really difficult connection regardless.
