Hi, I am thinking of taking a United flight that is connecting at SFO. The flight will arrive at SFO international (at 9.10am) and depart at terminal 3 ( at 10.40am). Will there be enough time for me to transit? My concern is whether there will be any checks that will delay the transition.
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time. You will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate.
Do I need to clear Customs in SF when arriving from Vancouver BC and if so, how long will it take?
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver.
Is 1 hour enough to go from term 3 and then to go to term 1 for a flight to YUL
Flight path is LAX- SFO- YUL

Thanks
No flights to Montreal leave from Terminal 1. It will leave from the International Terminal. If both flights are on the same reservation that should be enough time.
I'm traveling in mid-November from Portland to Singapore via SFO with a 1"10' connection, from VX in Term 2 to SQ in Term G. Will that work for able-bodied with little hand-carry?
That's barely possible if the first flight is on-time.
Hello, I am flying LAS to AKL via SFO. the booking is with Air New Zealand and the transit in SFO is 1 hour 19 mins. LAS to SFO is on United. Is this enough time and will I be able to clear immigration and customs in LAS? Is there a terminal change for a domestic to international?
There is no US Immigration and Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is a walkway from T3 where you arrive to Concourse G of the International Terminal where you depart inside security. You have enough time.
I am flying home from Boise BOI to Toronto YYZ with a one hour layover in SFO. Is one hour enough time? Would I need to re-check baggage in SFO? First flight is United, second is Air Canada.
Sorry should confirm that everything is booked on one ticket, my ticket says that the United airlines flight is a codeshare flight with Air Canada...
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, nothing with your bags.
I am traveling from Chicago on United in Jan 2018 with a layover in San Francisco then on to New Zealand. It is only a 49 min layover but I remain with United the entire trip, is that enough time? I have never been to SFO so unsure if this is possible. - Thanks
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do in SFO is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Also it's likely that the times of your flights will change before January.
Hi - I am traveling from Chicago on United in Jan 2018 to SFO then on to New Zealand but my layover is only 49 mins, is that enough time? I remain with United but have never been to SFO.
I am going Detroit to Sydney all on United in Business Class. The Detroit leg connects at SFO. United have booked it with about 90 minutes transit time at SFO. Do I go through US immigration at Detroit or SFO? Obviously I am not leaving SFO airport and hoping to go from one gate to another.
There is no US Immigration when leaving the US. All you have to do in SFO is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thanks for the advice!
Flight from lax to San Fran arriving at 6:47pm with a connection to London Heathrow at 7:40 both with united airlines,,,,, will this be enough time ? And if so will my bags be checked straight through or will I have to collect them in San Fran thanks in advance
All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
