TWO SEPARATE BOOKINGS. FLIGHT FROM PHX TO SFO AT 9:46AM THEN HAVE TO CLAIM & RE-CHECK BAGS AT SINGAPORE AIRLINES FLIGHT ETD 11:30AM. WILL I MAKE IT OR I SHOULD GET AN EARLIER FLIGHT WHICH WILL BE 7:43AM - WAY TOO EARLY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ADVICE.
Flying from YYC to SFO with 1 hour and 11 mins connection since United changed the times. What terminal do I land in from YYC and which terminal for my connecting flight to to SIN? Also how long will it take me to get to the terminal
Yes, that is enough time. You will arrive in Terminal 3 and depart from concourse G of the International Terminal. Since you pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary all you have to do in SFO is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Hi, our family of 4 are flying from New Zealand to SFO via UA916 arriving at 0635hrs. Our connecting flight to New York is via UA233 at 0820hrs. Is this enough time to get through immigration/customs or should I reschedule to a later flight?
That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I may fly from Ontario, CA to SFO (UA5015 operated by Skywest dba as United Express). In SFO, I have 1 hr, 7 min to transfer to UA8828.operated by Lufthansa, to Frankfurt. I will be checking a suitcase in Ontario thru to final destination if possible. Is 1 hr, 7 minutes enough time to do the transfer?
Yes that is enough time. All you have to do in SFO is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I would be taking a YUL flight with Air Canada and connect at SFO. There is only a 1 hour layover until the next flight from SFO to Taipei with United Airlines. Is the 1 hour layover enough for me to catch the next flight? Do I have to re-check my bags at SFO? Do I have to pass customs or any inspection area that would delay me? Will I land and depart from the same terminal at SFO?
Yes, that is enough time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Montreal. All you should have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Perfect, so i will not have to pick up my luggages and re-check them? Thank you again.
Hi I am planning to fly from YYC to SFO on United arriving at 9.25 pm and then flying qantas to syd departing at 11.25pm? Is a 2 hour layover going to be enough time? Thank you in advance!
Without checked bags that should be enough time. With checked bags, that will be difficult if it's two separate reservations, but not impossible. You will at least pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary.
Aloha, my wife and I are flying from YVR to HNL with a connection in SFO on 3/4. We are flying United on the same ticket with checked baggage. We only only have 44 minutes (3:02 arrival and 3:46 departure) to make the connection in SFO, is this possible? We are in first class. Thank you for your time. Aloha
That is enough time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in San Francisco is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I'm a non US resident, visiting LA. I have a layover in SFO at 7:30 pm with a connecting flight to LAX at 9 pm. Will I have to clear customs and recheck my bag at SFO or will I clear customs at LAX? Flights are on the same reservation, will 1.5 hours be enough for me to make my flight to LA?
Yes, in SFO you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security, and to your departure gate. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I've booked flights through Virgin from Manchester UK to San Francisco and return via Atlanta. My return flight from San Francisco to Atlanta is with Delta on March 8th. Can you please tell me which terminal I'll fly from or will it be the domestic one. Also will I have to claim my bag at Atlanta or will it go straight to the Virgin flight.
Your Delta flight from San Francisco will depart from Terminal 1 (A domestic terminal). You do not have to claim your bag in Atlanta.
