Hi, could you advice me. I am flying in to SFO from Singapore on Singapore Airlines at 1940 hr. My connecting flight is on Delta Airlines at 2300 hr in Terminal 1. Could you please advice me if I have enough time between the flights? Thanks.
Yes, that is enough time.
Hi there, I'm flying United from CDG to SNA, with a two hour layover in SFO. If I decide to just stay in SFO, will I be able to obtain my checked luggage? Or will the luggage go directly to SNA?
In SFO you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate.
Flying in from Singapore eta: 9:40. Connecting to United Airlines etd: 11:21. Is that doable or I should get a later connecting flight? Thank you.
If both flights are on the same reservation and you have checked bags that's just enough time.
Not the same reservation and different airlines. Thank you.
Then I would get a later flight.
Hello. I'm flying from O'Hare to Fiji with a connection in SFO. ORD to SFO is on American and arrives at 8:16 PM and departs for Fiji at 11:59 PM. I know we'll have enough time to make the connection, but how do we transfer to the international terminal? We'll check luggage through to our final destination if possible. But do we have to go through security again?
You will take the AirTrain to the International Terminal and go through security. You have plenty of time. You may have to stop at the Fiji Airways check-in desk to get your boarding passes to Fiji before going through security.
I have 1.5 hour layover. Coming from Sydney and then leaving for Newark. Says arrive and depart in INTL terminal. Do I have enough time?
FYI - it is all United Air
That's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
Hello. From Portland, we are arriving at SFO 10:41 am on United to connect to another United flight leaving at 11:30 am for Kansai airport Japan. Will we have enough time to make the connecting flight?
That is enough time if the flight from Portland is on-time. All you have to do in San Francisco is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I have a Qantas flight to SFO and then a Air Canada SFO-Vancouver Canada. They are separate bookings. Will 2 hours be enough to connect. Do I have to collect baggage and go through customs and passport and security at SFO
Yes, in SFO you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, take your bags to Air Canada, re-check them, and go through security and to your departure gate. 2 hours is really risky.
TWO SEPARATE BOOKINGS. FLIGHT FROM PHX TO SFO AT 9:46AM THEN HAVE TO CLAIM & RE-CHECK BAGS AT SINGAPORE AIRLINES FLIGHT ETD 11:30AM. WILL I MAKE IT OR I SHOULD GET AN EARLIER FLIGHT WHICH WILL BE 7:43AM - WAY TOO EARLY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ADVICE.
I think the 9:46 arrival is pretty risky.
Flying from YYC to SFO with 1 hour and 11 mins connection since United changed the times. What terminal do I land in from YYC and which terminal for my connecting flight to to SIN? Also how long will it take me to get to the terminal
Yes, that is enough time. You will arrive in Terminal 3 and depart from concourse G of the International Terminal. Since you pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary all you have to do in SFO is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Hi, our family of 4 are flying from New Zealand to SFO via UA916 arriving at 0635hrs. Our connecting flight to New York is via UA233 at 0820hrs. Is this enough time to get through immigration/customs or should I reschedule to a later flight?
That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
