As a slow walker, is it possible to arrange to have an electric cart take me from gate to gate?

Not sure. However, you could contact the Airport at (650) 821 8211 or via e-mail at http://www.flysfo.com/flysfocontactus/main

If you are disabled contact your airline for wheelchair assistance.

  • Best Place to Meet - SFO - United

My daughter is arriving at the B Concourse (United Express) and I am arriving about 30 minutes later, Terminal 3, Concourse F. What is the best place for us to meet? Thanks!

Your daughter arrives in Terminal 1 (B gates), where she should proceed to the Red-line of the AirTrain (an automated people mover) to Terminal 3 (your arrivals terminal). Have her meet you in the Arrivals area, next to the Information counter.

Does Skywest have curbside baggage service? Do they give you time to unload? We will have alot of luggage and 2 kids. Will I have to leave my family and return our rental car by myself?

Skywest operates as United Express at SFO. (Open skywest.com) Uniitd Airlines are listed in Terminals 3 & International Terminal. Contact United Express as to whether they have curbside service. Otherwise return rental car and board the Airtrain with family & bags to your connecting terminal.

I'm unable to reach anyone who can actually help. They lost my baggage on the way here, and can't account for it two days later.

Lost baggage is the responsibility of airlines and their handlers. You need to contact your airline.

I flew into SFO on Sat.Dec 17th after an overnight flight from Australia. An experience I don't wish to repeat. I will make sure in the future to fly in anywhere but SFO. At the first line up the lady encountered told me that for economical flights to proceed to Additional Services and I would find it no problem. I proceeded to find this counter. I asked an attendant if I was in the right line up for a transfer and he said yes,I had an hour before I had to board my plane. Then a young lady arrived whose plane had missed a connection wondering what line to go in for more information after waiting 30 minutes in another and leaving her husband and two toddlers behind to get info and he told her she was in the right line too, two young men who only had 20 minutes left to board a change of planes were also told they were in the right lane BUTthe problem was that this line wasn't moving hadn't moved two feet in 40 minutes or more according to the people ahead of us. Finally fearing that I would miss my connection I left this line to look for someone who could give me answers. I found another worker a young lady with a Santa hat who really listened and put me ahead in the customs line I should have been in to transfer to my plane for Chicago which I made just in time and then had to wait an hour on the plane while the air system on board was fixed. The point I am making is that the gentleman directing us didn't know what he was doing, he wasn't listening to our problem just pointing everybody to the same line up. I asked his name before leaving and I can only hope that John Z. will be given further training before attending to the probems of passengers who are coming in to the SFO airport. I have never been so wrongly informed or so frustrated and I wasn't the only one. Avoid this airport!?
