Los Cabos Mexico International Airport SJD is located in San Jose del Cabo, situated at the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez, in the state of Baja California Sur of Mexico, and serves both the Cities of San Jose des Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. 
Sun-seekers from Canada and the United States account for the bulk of the passenge traffic.  With one long runway and 2.6 million passengers a year, Los Cabos International is served by domestic and international airlines offering direct and connecting flights to all parts of the globe.

Los Cabos Airport has presently two passenger terminals, each with two concourses (T2 is for general aviation only, and T4 with ten gates is under construction): - T1 serves nearly all domestic & international airlines, while and T3 has taken the overflow. Services & Amenities inside the two terminals are: Food & drink establishments; shops & newsstands; currency exchange & ATM machines in T1 & T3; TelMex wireless internet access; V.I.P. Room; and various travel agencies.

Parking is available at three parking lots, with a total of 375 spaces, and parking fees (in Mexican Pesos) start at MPs21 for one hour, MPs 354 for a day and MPs 190 for the following days.

To get from the Airport to your destination, you can rent a car (from one of 10 rental car agencies) , take a taxi (to downtown for 1-5 persons MPs90-$450; to Hotel Zone San Jose MPs110/$550; to Coral Baja, La Joya Costa Azul & Palmilla MPs 120-600, etc.), or you can call the transportation hotline toll-free at 1-877-BAJA-123 from Mexico, US & Canada 9am-6pm, Mo-Fri, 9am-2pm Sat/Sun (Central Montain Time).

Los Cabos is located on a 33-km highway (Corredor Turistico) which stretches from San Jose del Cabo to Cabo San Lucas. Along this highway are world-class hotels and top restaurants. Los Cabos has a championship golf course, offers sport fishing and beautiful beaches. In winter you can watch the mating and birthing of the gray whale, while in summer you can head to Magdalena Bay for scuba diving, kayaking, fishing, etc. .
