Santander Airport SDR
- officially named 'Seve Ballesteros-Santander Airport'
is the only airport in the Cantabrian region of Spain and serves the city of Santander and its surrounding areas..
SDR Airport is located in the town of Maliano, within the municipality of Camargo, on the west side of the bay, and 5 km from the capital city Santander. It can be accessed from motorway S-10, exit 'Calle Aeropuerto'. S-10 (Av. Parayas connects nearby to A-67.
With a yearly estimate of 0.8 million passengers, Santander Airport is presently served by Iberia, Air Nostrum and Ryanair, offering direct flights to major European cities, with connections to all points of the globe.
Santander Airport has one passenger terminal:
The Ground level is divided into
- the Departure area
to the right, houses a departure lounge, check-in desks, ticket sales by Iberia 902 400 500 & Ryanair 807 220 220, as well as a shopping & restaurant area. After security check is access to gates 1 - 5.
- the Arrivals area
to the left, houses a baggage claim area, passport control, customs and an arrivals lobby with rental car desks.

3 ATM cash machines (Banco Santander, a virtual branch, with ATM 4B, and Caja Cantabria ATM Euro 6000),

Wi-Fi internet areas in the departure hall, cafeteria, boarding lounge and air-bridge module.

Buses: The ground level houses ALSA bus ticket automats near the arrivals exit.
Buses to the City run every 30 minutes - 7am-11pm.and long-distance destinations are at opposite ends of the terminal. Tel: 942 211 995.
