  • Transfer to same airline from Edmonton
    Nov 26, 2014
WE will be flying in from Edmonton on Alaska air so was wondering what and where we would need to go to get on the plane to take us to Hawaii. It is also Alaska air that we are flying with. Do we have to pick up our bags and go through immigration?

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Edmonton. All you have to do in Seattle is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

I am flying from Orlando to Seattle and then onto Victoria BC on the same airline, where will I go thru customs and immigration?

On your way to Victoria you will go through Canadian Immigration and Customs in Victoria. On the return (if you are flying the return), you will go through US Immigration and Customs in Seattle.

My girlfriend (Singapore Citizenship) will fly in from Singapore to SEA and has 1hr 26mins before her connecting flight to Kansas City. Is this enough time for a foreigner to go through customs and back through security and make her second flight?

That is probably not enough time - what airlines is she flying?

  • Southwest to Baggage claim
    Jul 1, 2014
I am going to be wrangling a large group arriving on Southwest Airlines (with a few arriving on American) and wanted to direct them to meet me at baggage claim and then loading them onto buses. What is the amount of time expected; do they take a train to Baggage Claim?

SEA has a single large baggage claim area for Domestic flights. Just pick a particular one.

  • Delta Connection time

Arriving on DL flight 588 PVG to SEA. gets in at 8:30 on a Sat. morning. Connecting to DL flight 282 to ATL after customs. Have 1 hour and 39 min. Is that enough time? Thanks for your advice. The next flight is a 5 hour layover.

You arrive at & depart from Satellite South (S gates). I suggest you open, then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the text, paying attention to 'International Arrivals', and to 'South Satellite', near the bottom. Your transfer time should be enough.

  • alaska air to delta

I will be arriving from Vancouver and connect to delta for non stop flight to atlanta. How do I get from gate to delta gate

    1. Do make use of Vancouver's U.S. customs clearance, saving you time on arrival at SEA. 2. Make sure that Alaska is transferring your bags to Delta flight - if not, you need to claim your bag & re-check it in with Delta at the Main Terminal's ticketing level. 3. While Alaska uses Concourses C & D and Satellite North, Delta only uses Satellite South. Your ticket /boarding pass should indicate arrival & departure gates: Concourse C has gates C2 (2A-2M) to C20. Near gate 14 is transit (via STS train) to D & N gates. Concourse D has gates D1-D11 (near gate 3, down 2 levels, is transit to C & N gates. The North Terminal has gates N1-N16 & near gate N10, down one level, is transit to all other gates. The South Satellite has gates S1-13, served by the South Train Loop.
