  • Enough time

Hi we are travelling from Brisbane to Calgary via LAX and Seattle on one ticket with Virgin/ Delta We have 4 hours at LAX and understand after customs we drop our bags and collect them at out final destination ( hopefully ), we have no terminal advice at this stage but understand 4 hours is ample, just concerned about 60 minute connection in Seattle for Calgary,

In Seattle all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, you should have enough time. All gates in Seattle are connected inside security.

thank you, now I can stop stressing

I am the same person who commented about the 45 min layover. Can I leave incheon, south korea with my filipino passport and enter Seattle with my US passport? I highly doubt this is possible but for some reason my dad THINKS its okay no matter how much I argue with him about it.

Yes, it is possible. If you have a US passport they are obligated to let you in with it.

  • Dubai-Seattle-Victoria...enough time
    Apr 6, 2015
I am flying from Dubai to Seattle on a 14 hour Emirates flight. The flight arrives in satellite S. My next flight is to Victoria, Canada from terminal C. The layover time is 1h 25 minutes. I have 2 questions: 1) Would I have to go through any customs? or immigration at Seattle airport? I am only going to be in transit. 2) Is 1 hour 25 minutes layover enough to catch the Victoria, Canada connection? I do have another option where Victoria connection is 6 hours 40 minutes later. I could take that one. I am also traveling with a 4 year old so I will have a stroller. Is it true that to go to S to C, I have to take the train 4 times? Your thoughts? Thanks

I would take the option of more time in between. Arriving in the US from anywhere outside the US you will go through customs, even when connecting to the next leg of your trip. If you have a 4-year-old with you, I'd allow a buffer of at least 2 hours to connect. You can do it in 1 hours 25 minutes, but to save your sanity, allow for more time.

Hi, I am looking at the following itinerary: ATL - SEA - NRT - BKK I arrive in SEA at 10:55am and my NRT flight departs at 11:25am. Do I have enough time to make my NRT flight? Thanks in advance for your insight!

That should be enough time. Both of your flights will be in the S Satellite. However, it obviously leaves very little time to spare in case of delays.

So, even though I'm catching an international flight (NRT = Narita, Tokyo) you think I can make it as long as there are not delays? I just wasn't sure about when they start closing the doors. Thanks!

  • 45 minutes for connecting flight
    Jun 27, 2014
Hello, I am flying with Alaska Airlines from Bozeman to San Francisco with a stop in Seattle and I have just 45 minutes for connecting flight. Do you think I can make it in time if there is no delay?

Yes, that should be enough time if your first flight is on-time. All gates at SEA are connected inside security.

And do you also know if there is delay and I miss the second flight, will they give me a ticket for the next flight to San Francisco? I still havent bought the ticket I am just thinking about it

Yes, if you miss the connecting flight they will rebook you on the next available flight to SFO, or if you request, the next available flight to OAK.
