  • Where is the train terminal in the airpo

    My husband will be flying into SEA-TAC for a job interview. He's never been to this airport before. He'll be flying American. He's been informed by the potential employer to take the train into downtown Seattle in order to get to his hotel. How easy will it be for him to find the train departure point?

    1. Open http://www.portseattle.org/Sea-Tac/Maps-and-Directions/Pages/Terminal-Overview.aspx - look at A gates (served by American Airlines) 2. The Link Light Rail to the City departs from the new SeaTac/Airport Station, which is connected by a pedestrian covered walkway to Skybridge 6, located on the 4th floor of the Parking Garage, which connects to the main passenger terminal's ticketing level. Trains run every 7.5 minutes during rush hours and every 15 minutes thereafter, MonSat 5am-1am & Sun 6am-midnight. He needs to get from the A gates to the Main Terminal's ticketing level.     At SEA, the Baggage Claim level of the Main Terminal serves - at the South Lot - scheduled Airporters, which also include the Bremerton-Kitsap Airporter.

    Alaska uses North Satellite, and Concourses C & D of the Main Terminal, connected by the STS Train (follow signs on arrival to 'Main Terminal'). Sound Transit routes 560 & 574 make ickups/dropoffs at main terminal bus stop on the lower drive (baggage claim level).

  • Transportation to fort lewis and hotel

    I will be arriving in Seattle for my fiance's homecoming. I have never been to this airport before. I am actually surprising him, so I can not ask him for information. His homecoming is at 6 pm. I land at 3 pm. I will have all my luggage, so i will need to first stop at the Best Western Lakewood Motor Inn and then be transported to Fort Lewis. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

    My suggestion is that you contact the USO Sea-Tac Center facility prior to your departure to Seattle ((tel. 206-433-5438 or visit usopsa.org. - to arrange the proper welcome at the Airport). The USO center is on the Mezzanine Level, open 24/7, has full service, including showers - volunteers arrange for proper welcome. For your own arrival at SEA - ask them if you can leave your bags on arrival at SEA - meet your fiance and proceed together to the next destination.

    At the Main Terminal of SEA, ticket counters 1 to 6 correspond to the skybridge numbers leading to the parking garage. No need to take a shuttle. Simply follow signs to the Skybridge on the ticket level.

    The USO Sea-Tac Center is located on the Mezzanine level of the Main Terminal and offers extended facilities. (tel. 206-4333-5438 or visit usopsa.org. Furthermore Staffed Ground Transportation Information Booths are located on the third floor of the Parking Garage and in Baggage Claim, opposite Carousel 12.
