Hi there, I'm flying from London to Las Vegas with an 1.33 connecting time in Seattle. Is this enough time to transit. All flights on one ticket with Virgin/Delta.

I am flying calgary to Seattle to San Jose, Ca . Is 1 hour enough time to make the connection in Seattle on Delta

Yes, that is enough time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary. All you have to do in Seattle is go from you arrival gate to your departure gate.

Hi, I have connection to catch at gate S7, coming from gate A3. Is 10 minutes enouh? Thanks

You use the underground train. 10 minutes is not really enough for any connection, although if the inbound flight arrives earlier than that it's not impossible as it's a very close connection.

  • International connection (Transit in SEA from Seoul)

Hi! I am a non-US citizen, and I have 1hr 50mins in Seattle to transit from an international flight from Seoul to a domestic flight to SFO on Alaskan airlines. As time would be very tight, I would like to know what is the fastest possible route from which terminal to which terminal upon arrival at SEA to clear customs, re-check in my bags, and catch my Alaskan Air flight? Also, what is the latest I can re-check in my bags? Thank you for your time!

Seattle only has one terminal. If all tickets are on the same reservation, you will arrive in the S Satellite, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security, and then go to your departure gate in the C, D, or N concourse using the underground train. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

I went through a third party agent to get my tickets, and realised that my international flight (Asiana Airlines) and my domestic flight (Alaskan Airlines) does not have any interlining or codesharing agreements. As such, I suspect the tickets are considered to be different reservations. If this is the case, are there any differences with the process you advised above? Thank you for your reply!

Yes, if Asiana isn't able to tag your bag to SFO then you will have to put your bag on a belt that takes it to the main terminal after clearing customs, then take the train to the main terminal, then claim your bag again, then re-check it at the Alaska check-in desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. That makes your connection much more difficult.

  • Lufthansa to Alaska Airlines (operated by Horizon Air) connection

Will 2h25min be enough to connect between a Lufthansa flight and a Horizon Air operated flight for a non-US citizen, holding U.S visitors visa? Connection would be on a Wednesday.

Are both tickets on the same reservation or two separate reservations?

  • 37 Minutes (!!) for connection - can I make it?

I'm flying ATL-SEA-YYC and have just 37 minutes in SEA. Can I make it? Do I have to go through security again since the connecting flight is going to Canada?

No, you don't have to go through security again. if both tickets are on the same reservation then all you have to do in Seattle is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if the flight from Atlanta is on-time.

Thanks. I was just a little worried as I haven't been through SEA before. I was told we'd arrive in Concourse B and take off from Concourse A.

    That's a very easy walk.

  • Is 1h20m enought to connect

Hi, I will from TPE->SEA->YYC and all the tickets are Delta, and I just have 1h20m, Is it enough connect from SEA to YYC?

No, that is not enough time for an International to international connection in Seattle.

Hi I'm flying from sfo to Seattle and then on to London Heathrow, is an hour and twelve minutes enough time for a connection? Both flights with delta

Yes, that should be enough time. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You may have to take the underground train to the S Concourse.

Breakfast all day, but I left KC at 7 AM Local time and was ready for lunch at 9:45 AM local time in Seattle. They weren't serving it yet!! For an international airport, they need to learn that we aren't all on Seattle time.

pdx to sea is alaska, sea to dxb is emirates, how long does it take to go from c gates to s gates? I don't have any checked luggage, is 30ish minutes okay for a layover?

30 minutes leaves very little time to spare. If you can take an earlier flight from Portland I would.

  • 2 hour layover enough time

Dutch citizen arriving on Emirates in Seattle from Dubai, then flying to SFO on Alaska Airlines. Is 2 hours enough time to claim baggage, go through customs, re-check luggage and get to the other terminal/gate?

If everything is on the same reservation then yes, that is enough time.

Flying from Sacramento-Vancouver with a layover in Seatle. Both flights with Delta. WE have a 40 min layover time ,is this enough in Seatle to make the second flight. Returning flight is same scenario, flying back from Vancouver stopping in Seatle with a 40 min layover before flying back to Sacrmento. Bothe flights with Alaskan airlines on same reservation. Will this be enough time?

Yes, that is enough time. Both ways all you have to do in Seattle is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. On your return you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver.

  • YYJ to SEA to LAX

Between landing in Seattle from Victoria I have 1 hour 20 min to get my connecting flight to LAX. Is this enough time? We bought the tickets direct from Alaska Airlines so I assume they give you enough time but seems tight to me

That should be barely enough time if everything goes smoothly. If you do miss your connection Alaska has frequent flights from Seattle to LAX.

  • 2 hour layover to get bags and check in with another airline

We arrive into Seattle on a southwest flight. Will 2 hours be enough to claim bags, checkin with Delta and get through security for a flight to Hawaii?

It's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.

  • YKM-->SEA, then SEA-->SFO-->PEK

I booked two separate tickets: the first from YKM (Yakima) to SEA on Alaska Air, the second from SEA to SFO, SFO to Beijing, through United Airlines. I'll have cleared YKM security already when I arrive at SEA, but will NOT have checked in yet for my Seattle to Beijing flight since I booked them separately. Will I be able to check in at the United boarding gate after deplaning my Alasa flight without having to go through security again, or will I need to exit the terminal, check in for my Seattle-SanFran-Beijing flight, then go through Sea-Tac security? I can manage doing carry-ons only, but the kicker is that I don't have much time between flights. Any advice or insight much appreciated.
