I fly into Seattle from Salt Lake City, but only have 1 hr and 3 minutes to get to the international terminal to fly to Hong Kong. WIll that be enough time? Will I have to recheck my bags before I go to hong kong? Thanks

Seattle doesn't have an "International Terminal". If both flights are on Delta, all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You don't have to do anything with your bags. There is no US Customs when leaving the US. You have enough time if both flights are on the same reservation and the first flight is on-time.

Flights were booked through Icelandair, but first leg from SMF to SEA is on Alaska Air. We land at SEA at 2:35pm, with departure to KEF Iceland at 4:00pm. Will we need to collect checked bags, re-enter security, go through customs, and re-check bags? Or do the checked bags transfer from Alaska to Icelandair automatically? If we have to do all steps, will 1 hour + 20 minutes be enough time?

No, you do not have to do anything with your bags in Seattle on your way to Iceland. There is no US Customs when leaving the US. You have enough time. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

  • how to get from C20 to N3 at SEA

My flight arrives from YVR at 2pm on AS702 (I believe at C20) and my connection to LAX departs at 2:45pm from N3 (I gather). How long will it take me to get to N3 from C20 and how?

There is an underground train that connects N to C and D. You have just enough time if the flight from Vancouver is on-time.

Hi I am flying from PDX - SEA - DXB. Alaska reaches SEA by 7:19 am and my flight to DXB is by 9 am. Emirates website says the gate closes 20 minutes prior. Is this time enough for moving along with family and kid?

That is plenty of time if both flights are on the same reservation. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

Yes, that should be plenty of time.

How long does this take to get from south satellite to terminal A? Arrive at 5am take off 6:20AM. KOA-SEA via delta then SEA-EWR via United. I don't need to go thru security again will I? Thank you!

If you don't have checked bags then you don't have to go through security again. The trains shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes.

    Yipes we have checked bags...

You think the security line is long at that hour. If some of us have TSA pre will that help? Thank tou very much.

With checked bags you have no chance of getting your bags and re-checking them with United before the bag-check cutoff. Either don't check bags or don't try this connection.

Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do in Seattle is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

HI, I am traveling from seattle to delhi at 1.27 p.m. with delta and reaching seattle at 12:17.p.m. from alaska. Is 1 hour enough time to change terminals ? both tickets on same reservation.

Seattle only has one terminal. There are no nonstop flights from Seattle to Delhi. Where are you flying first?

Hi i am going to Shanghai first then Delhi. I am concerned what is the cut off for boarding in delta flights ?

It'll probably close at about 15 minutes before departure. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

    thanks a lot !!

Coming in from AMS at 2:00pm and then fly out to SAN at 3:00pm only 1 hour but I have Global entry pass. Can I make it?

And I will have checked baggage

With global entry you might have a chance if your bags come out quickly, but even then it will be really difficult.

Would it be quicker if we managed to carry on?

Yes, that would help quite a bit.

hi, I am flying AS2161 YYJ/SEA connecting to AS746 SEA/BOS issued on same ticket. Enough time, or best to take the DL16 at 1025 issued on separate ticket. Thank you Mehdi

I don't know if you have enough time as you did not post the times of your flights. Always go with flights on the same ticket though.

AS2161 gets into SSEA at 0840am and AS746 departs at 0955. Only carry on

Hi! I'm flying into SEA tomorrow, and I arrive at 11:28 with a connection to Hong Kong at 12. Will this be enough time to make my flight? I'm wondering If I will have to pass through additional security or any such thing

If both flights are on the same reservation all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, no additional security.

Hi there, I'm flying in from yvr to Seattle, then have a 45 minute layover to JFK. Both flights are delta. Will I have enough time ? Also will I have to pick up my luggage and go through security again ?

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in Seattle is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if the flight from Vancouver is on-time.
