  • Alaska Air Connection time

I will be arriving at 9:50pm at Seatac and need to catch an Alaska air to Victoria BC at 11:10pm. I will only have carryon luggage. Do I have enough time for the connection. Alaska says yes, others say no. I also heard Alaska closes boarding 30 min before the flight.

Alaska Airlines use Concourses A, C & D with corresponding gates, as well as Satellite North (N gates). Your ticket should indicate which gate you arrive at /depart from (as well as the overhead screens on arrival). If you are a domestic arrival at SEA, you can make it timewise. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/sea and click on "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS, then scroll down beyond the map for all the details.

I will be arriving to SEA via South Satellite Terminal. I must meet my friend who will be arriving to SEA 2 1/2 hours later at the North Satellite Terminal. We will then be picked up by friends to vacation in Seattle. I don't want to have my luggage sit at the baggage claim for 2 1/2 hours. What are my options?

Meet up in the Central Terminal of SEA's terminal complex. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/sea, click on "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS

  • finding my connecting flight?

I will be arriving from Victoria BC on Horizon Air and need to find my connecting flight to L.A. on- Alaska Airlines Where do I go?

You will be considered an international arrival which come in at Satellite South (gates S1 to S13), as YYJ does not have US customs clearance. Look at your ticket to see which gate you depart from, as Alaska uses C & D gates and the North Satellite with N gates. For customs procedure and gate transfer it is best to open www.ifly.com/sea and click on "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS, then scroll down to the detailed text.

Where are the Rental car counters at SEA? Main termial?

SEA has a new 5-level RCF (Consolidated Rental Car Facility) at South 160th Street & International Blvd. south intersection, and adjacent to the Airport includes all rental car counters and rental cars. Free shuttles run 24/7 between the terminals & RCF. Pickup is outside the baggage claim at north & south ends of the main terminal. For rental car return use SR518 and follow signs to RCF. Rent-a-Wreck customers need to take another shuttle from the RCF.

  • AA gate to Main Terminal Ticket Counter

Upon arriving Seattle from NY on AA, I need to meet someone at the Ticket Counter 3 in the Main Terminal. Been to Seattle several times, and I always managed to get lost in the airport. Will you please help?

Yes, transfers at SEA are confusing. You arrive on American Airlines at Concourse A - across from the food court there are exits to the main terminal - look for departures /ticketing level which has ticket counters 1 - 6.

  • United Airlines to Door 00

Arriving on United Airlines, will be catching a Kenmore Air shuttle at Door 00. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give me a general idea of how to find my way through SeaTac Airport. Thanks to everyone!

    1. At SEA United serves in both Satellite North (N gates) and Concourse A (A gates) - your ticket should indicate arrival gate area. You need to get to the main terminal's baggage claim. A gates would connect you there, while the Satellite needs you to take the North Train loop. (open www.ifly.com/sea -under QUICK LINKS click on"Terminal Map" - under it is description of terminals & transfer. 2. Kenmore Airshuttle - open http://www.kenmoreair.com/Policies - states in part "Sea-Tac shuttles drop off and pick up at Door 00 in the Scheduled Airporter waiting area at the south end of Baggage Claim. Please note that the shuttles themselves are not visible from the indoor waiting area at Door 00. Our drivers will make at least one announcement on the public address system prior to departure however it is the passenger's responsibility to be at the shuttle prior to the scheduled departure time. Shuttle vehicles are clearly marked with Kenmore Air's logo."

Arriving on AA from Dallas Concourse A. How do I get to AA/Operated by Alaska Air in Concourse C.

At SEA, all concourses are connected at post-security, enabling passengers to freely move around without having to leave the secured area.

Booked thru AA and will be arriving from Edmonton Canada via Alaska Air at 7 pm. Connection to AA at 9:25pm to Mia. Am I right in assuming that I will not have to transfer my luggage? Any ideas on which terminal I will arrive at and depart at for the next leg. Thanks

    1. Make sure you go at Edmonton through US customs clearance, saving you time at SEA. 2. Alaska uses Satellite North with N gates, as well as Concourses C & D with corresponding gates; American uses Concourse A. While all concourses are connected at post-security, enabling passengers to freely move around without having to leave the secured area - you need to get a shuttle bus to the Satellite terminal.

How to get from Delta to Alaska terminal

At SEA Delta uses the South Terminal, Alaska uses Concourses C & D with corresponding gates and the North Satellite (N gates). Your ticket and on arrival the overhead screens will indicate your connecting gate. NOTE: Passengers arrive at the South Satellite (whether changing planes or ending their trip at Sea-Tac) and then go through immigration clearance, pick up checked luggage, continue to customs (taking 30-60 minutes), and (from here on procedures differ): (a) If you end your trip at SeaTac, put your luggage on the high-speed conveyor which will deliver it to the Baggage Claim. Proceed to the Main Terminal to pick up your luggage at the Baggage Claim carousel. (Ground Transportation Information Booth is on level 3 of the parking garage.) (b) If you need to transfer to a domestic flight at Sea-Tac International, you must recheck your luggage and go through TSA security screening prior to proceeding to your connecting flight. If you have duty-free liquid items, put them in our checked luggage to prevent confiscation at the security checkpoint. Transferring from South Satellite to North Satellite: After immigration take the subway - make sure to follow the transfer path, NOT the baggage stop. Take the train to Transfer to North Satellite stop, walk across platform to transfer subway and take it to the next stop, then walk across platform, take the next train & get off at North Sattelite. It will involve 2 transfers and 3 trains, but only 15-20 mins.

how do i get from delta to horizon air

At SEA, you arrive via Delta at Satellite South and need to get to your Horizon connection in Concourse C. This is how to transfer: Board train at Satellite South to Concourse B. Board train at Concourse B to Main Terminal South Station. Exit train and walk through the station to board another train to Main Terminal North Station. Exit train at Main Terminal North Station and walk though the station to board another train to Concourse C. Exit train and enter Concourse C. NOTE, however, that the South Terminal is for international arrival - meaning you need to go through passport control, pick up your bag, go through customs clearance & re-check-in your bag before proceeding to your connecting Concourse C. Allow at least an hour for gate-to-gate transfers.

I am arriving on UA at 10:40 am, then departing on Alaska Airlines at 11:45 to Billingham. On the way home Alaska Airlines into Seattle at 7:43am connecting to UA flight at 8:30am will I have enough time to deplane and then get to my connecting flights on time?

Both United and Alaska airlines use Satellite North; however, United also uses Concourse B and Alaska Concourse C (with corresponding gate numbers). While you only need to transfer from gate to gate at Satellite North, you would have a more complicated transfer if arriving at Satellite North and departing from either Concourses B or C. (a) to Concourse B: Board train at Satellite North to Concourse C. Board train at Concourse C to Main Terminal North Station. Exit train and walk through the station, board another train to Main Terminal South Station. Exit train at Main Terminal South Station. Walk through the station and board another train, pass Satellite South to Concourse B. (b) Board train at Satellite North to Concourse C. Enter Concourse C. 3. North Satellite has gates N1-16; Concourse B gates B1-15; Concourse C gates C1-20. Your ticket and the overhead screens on arrival at SEA will indicate your flight number and gate. You should have enough time for transfer options.

  • Transfer from Domestic to International

I am flying into Seattle from Oakland via Alaska Air, and will be transferring to Icelandair. Will I have to retrieve my checked luggage and go through security again?

At SEA (as at all US International airports) only international arrivals need to go through passport check, customs clearance & (if continuing journey) baggage re-check-in. Alaska uses Satellite North and Concourses C & D, while Icelandair uses the South Satellite. Look at your ticket to see which gate you arrive/depart from. Concourses C & D have C & D gates; Satellites North & South have N & S gates. Use overhead signs to find your transfer.

Sorry but I am unclear. Will my checked bags be automatically checked through to Icelandair from my domestic flight arriving in Seattle? Or will I have to retrieve the bags and check them through myself?

Their bagels are huge with many addons and stuffings. Also Florida's Natural OJ which tops off a breakfast for an early departure.

  • Alaska Air from Vancouver Canada

I am arriving on an Alaska AIr flight at 2:30 from Canada, and leave on a SUn Country flight to Minneapolis at 5:30. I need to retrieve my luggage and check in at Sun Country - Do I have time and how Do i do this.

Vancouver airport has U.S. customs clearance - no need to to pass customs at SEA. What you need is to find out whether Alaska Air will automatically transfer your bags at SEA to Sun Country flight - not all airlines do, in which case you would need to take your bag and check it in with Sun Country before proceeding to your connecting gate: Alaska uses A, C, D Concourses & Satellite North; Sun Country uses Concourse A. - all concourses are connected at post-security.

What is U.S. customs clearance in Vancouver - can anyone use this - is there a charge? My luggage will not be transferred by Alaska Air automatically. Thank You.
