I have a connecting flight -a prop plane coming in and jet out. Are all Alaska airline gates in the same area in the terminal? I have 41 minutes
Alaska uses concourses C, D, and N.
Thank you for the reply. It is appreciated!
If I am coming from Paris via Seattle to Canada, do I need to clear US Customs or just connect to my plane to Canada?
Yes, in Seattle you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. If you are a European citizen you will need ESTA.
I have a flight from LAX to SEA. Then a flight from SEA to Amsterdam. Is 30 min enough time to make my connecting flight?
If both flights are on Delta that is just enough time if the flight from LAX is on-time.
Flying from SLC to SEA on Alaska. Arriving at 11.50am. Then flying BA to LHR departing at 1.30pm on a separate reservation. No checked bags. Assuming 1 hour 40 is enough time? Thanks!
Yes, that is enough time. If you are able to check in online for your British Airways flight you can go straight to your departure gate.
Is 50 minutes enough time to connect from Vancouver through Seattle en route to Juneau? Will I need to collect and recheck my bags in Seattle or can I go through a pre-flight customs process in Vancouver?
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in Seattle is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
I will be flying in from the UK and landing in SEA for a connecting flight to Sacramento. Will 1 hour 40 minutes be enough to time to clear immigration (US citizen),baggage claim, and to make it to the gate in time?
If both flights are on the same reservation that is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
My wife and I are flying from Minneapolis to PDX arriving at 12:49pm, our connecting flight to Seattle departs at 1:14pm. This only gives us 25 minutes before our plane leaves. Will our gate be closed? Will this be enough times to catch our flight or is it too tight and likely to be missed? Thanks!
so you're talking about a connection in Portland? (you posted this in the Seattle forum). It's enough time if the first flight is on-time. It obviously leaves no time to spare if it's not.
Oops. Just noticed that. Thanks for your reply.
Hello
I am flying into SEA with Virgin from Heathrow and connecting on a Delta flight to Vancouver, same ticket, through check in. Will I need to pass US immigration? I am asking so that I put the correct arrival date when applying for my ESTA.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate.
Thank you ever so much ZAP. Really appreciate you taking the time to reply. I have two hours so I guess i will be fine plus DL has later flights as well in case I miss this.
Cheers and have a good day!
I fly into Seattle from Salt Lake City, but only have 1 hr and 3 minutes to get to the international terminal to fly to Hong Kong. WIll that be enough time? Will I have to recheck my bags before I go to hong kong? Thanks
Seattle doesn't have an "International Terminal". If both flights are on Delta, all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You don't have to do anything with your bags. There is no US Customs when leaving the US. You have enough time if both flights are on the same reservation and the first flight is on-time.
Thanks for your help! You should get a raise for all of asking the same thing in a different way:)
Flights were booked through Icelandair, but first leg from SMF to SEA is on Alaska Air. We land at SEA at 2:35pm, with departure to KEF Iceland at 4:00pm. Will we need to collect checked bags, re-enter security, go through customs, and re-check bags? Or do the checked bags transfer from Alaska to Icelandair automatically? If we have to do all steps, will 1 hour + 20 minutes be enough time?
No, you do not have to do anything with your bags in Seattle on your way to Iceland. There is no US Customs when leaving the US. You have enough time. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
