Delta airline from Austin to Anchorage with 40 mins layover in Seattle.
How do I go from Delta arriving gate (from Austin) to departure gate (to Anchorage) ?
Do I have enough time ?
Thank you in advance for your help.
All you have to do is follow the signs pointing to your departure gate. Delta uses A, B, and S (your gates will probably be on A or B). You have enough time if the flight from Austin is on-time.
My reservation has 2 parts- Spokane to Seattle is operated by Alaska Air, and Seattle- Frankfurt is with Lufthansa. I was under the impression that i would have 1 checked in bag for free and it would go all the way to Frankfurt, but I just spoke to Alaska Air and they say I will have to pick up my checked in luggage in Seattle and check it in again ( and pay Alaska air $25 per bag!). I only have 1hr and 15 min between flights- is that doable? I am traveling with 2 kids!
If it's all one reservation then whoever you spoke to on the phone is wrong.
I will be arriving from PDX to SEA by Alaska Airlines and have an international connecting flight to NRT via All Nippon Airways (ANA) with only 1 hour connection. This is made on the same reservation. What happens to the checked luggage from PDX? Do I have to go through baggage claim in SEA and then check in at the ANA counter? I don't think I'll have enough time with just 1 hour.
All you have to do in Seattle is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
I have made a Delta reservation for HKG-SEA-YYC with a connection time of 1hr 40mins from Seattle to Calgary in June. Will I need to go through passport control, or just head to the departure gate for my connection flight. My return flight will be YVR-SEA-HKG, with only 54 mins for transfer. Will I still need to go through US passport control at Seattle or just go to departure gate for HKG. I have applied for ESTA for US and ETA for Canada already.
Yes, on the way to Calgary you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. On the return you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver, so all you have to do in Seattle is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. The first connection time is sufficient but slightly risky and the second connection should be fine.
Can I use the APC kiosk at SEA?
Only if you have used ESTA before. If this is your first time using ESTA you can't.
We are flying into Seattle on Alaska Airlines out of Anchorage and connecting to Southwest airlines domestic connection, on separate reservations, we will have 1 hr and 40 mins is that enough time to get our bags from Alaska airlines and check in with southwest?
It's just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
On two different reservations. One checked bag, no option to carry that one on. Will I need more than 1 hr 45 min to connect? Any slack in that connection time in case the arrival in SEA is late? Thanks.
Yes, you need closer to 2-2.5 hours on two separate reservations with checked bags
Thanks much.
My daughter is flying by herself and the connection time from SEA arrival to LIH departure is 58 minutes. Does she have enough time to make this connection and should she get help once getting off in SEA to get to LIH gate, terminal?? I'm worried about her travelling alone in such big airport. Both flights are with Alaska Airlines if that's any help. Also I'm assuming she will be clearing customs and immigration in YVR
Seattle only has one terminal. Yes, she will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All she has to do in Seattle is go from her arrival gate to her departure gate. She has enough time if the flight from Vancouver is on-time.
Traveling from Boston to Seattle to Seoul, Korea on Delta. Will baggage be checked straight through to Seoul, or do I need to collect it in Seattle and go through Customs? Will 90 minutes be enough time to make connections?
Yes, your bags will go straight through if both flights are on the same reservation. Yes, that is enough time if both flights are on the same reservation.
Flying Delta from YVR to SEA and on to Kona, Hawaii. Wondering what terminal (s) I will fly to and from in Seattle. Thanks.
Seattle only has one terminal. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. Both of your flights will likely be in concourse A or B. All you have to do in Seattle is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thank you, ZAP.
Arriving at SEA with EK 227 from Dubai at 06:55 and transit to SLC with Alaska Airlines 09:50. Are three hours enough time to do the necessary (immigration, re-check bags, security, etc.) Also, will it be Concourse C, D or N for the departure of Alaska Airlines to SLC?
For got to mention - both the reservations are on the same ticket.
Yes, that should be enough time. You could depart in C, D, or N.
