I'm flying london to vancouver via seattle.. I have 1hour 20 layover in seattle, baggage and two separate tickets.. is that possible?
No, that is not possible.
Flying back from Frankfurt to Seattle with no checked luggage on Condor. Need to go through immigration. Will i have enough time if i give 2 hours until my Ak airlines flight departs for spokane?
That should be enough time as long as you don't check bags and check in for your Alaska flight before leaving Germany.
Travelling from JFK with a stop in SEA ans connecting to YVR. Only 40 minutes connection time in SEA . It's with the same airline (Delta) is it enough time? I will also have checked baggage
Yes, that is enough time if the flight from JFK is on-time.
We fly from LAX to Seattle, then depart Seattle only 1 hour later for Kelowna. Is that enough time?
Yes, all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
hello, i have the same flight as the asker. what if i have checked my baggage in Lax? should i pick it up first then go through all the security check again? or my baggage will automatically go to Kelowna ?
I will be arriving in Seatle from Victoria, Canada, and only have a 1 hr 30 min connection in Seattle before boarding an Emirates flight to Dubai (All in 1 reservation). Will I need to collect my checked luggage and/or do security all again? There are no US customs in Victoria so I will need to go through customs upon arrival to SEA, and am concerned that this won't be enough time. If I could get some info as to which terminal is for Alaska Airlines (for flights b/w Canada and the US) and which terminal is for Emirates that would be very helpful as well. Thanks for the help, Cheers
Yes, in Seattle you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. Everything will be in the S Satellite. You have enough time if your flight from Victoria is on-time.
Hello my mom is coming to seattle in emirates flight (dubai) and board to SLC flight (alaska airlines- probably gate N). Does she need to collect baggage. if yes, where she supposed to recheck-in? recheck-in available in main terminal? Is 2.5 hrs sufficient? she is first-time flyer, does she have to take train?
Thanks in advance for the help
Yes, she will have to go through US Immigration, claim her bags, go through US Customs, then re-check her bags at the re-check desk immediately after (If they are tagged to SLC, which they should if everything is on the same reservation), then go through security and take the trains to her departure concourse. She has enough time.
Thanks a lot for the response
I arrive in Terminal 2 (Eva Air) before I need to depart on a Virgin America (also in T2) flight 1.5 hours later. Is this a possible itinerary on a Sunday evening? I arrive from Taiwan at 6:10pm, and must depart for SFO by 7:40pm.

Thanks in advance for the help!
Seattle does not have a "Terminal 2". Are both flights on the same reservation? Do you have checked bags?
Thank you for the quick response.

I was mistaken on the terminals - Eva Air lands in South Satellite and Virgin America takes off from Concourse B. Both flights are not on the same reservation and I have no checked bags.
OK, so then check in for your Virgin America flight online before you leave Asia. When you get to Seattle you will arrive in S, go through US Immigration, Customs, and Security, then take the underground train to Concourse B and walk to your departure gate. It's possible but you have no time to spare.
m flying from philippines-narita-seattle-calgary...do i need a transit visa my stopover in seattle is 4 hrs...tnx
If you are a Filipino citizen, yes, you need a transit visa.
I'm coming to Seatle from Calgary, Canada. Only 1 hr 45 min lay-off in Seattle before catching to Emirates flight to Dubai. All in 1 reservation. Should I collect all my luggage (total 6!) and do the security all again. I have to do this in Calgary (origin) any way.
You won't have to claim your bags or go through security. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary. All you have to do in Seattle on the way to Dubai is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
We arrive on Asiana (Sattelite S) & need to connect to Alaska Air to Fairbanks (not sure which gate - C or N) about 2.5 hours later. Will this be enough time to make the flight? We will have priority baggage tags on Asiana. My luggage will not be checked all the way to Fairbanks as the Alaska Airlines flight is on a separate standalone booking/reservation.

Understand that at Sattelite S we will go through immigration, collect bags, then customs. This is where I have found conflicting information that I hope someone can help shed some light. Exactly where will I be doing the check-in for the AA flight? At Sattelite S itself (is there an AA counter)? Or because it is a separate ticket, I have to go to the main terminal building to collect my bags for the second time (Carousel 1)? Then do check-in from there? At this point, am I already outside the secure area?

Also how do I get to the N side by underground train if I am already outside in the public area coz I read that the AA check-in counters in the main building are on the N side?
You will have to put your bags on another conveyor to take them to the main terminal and then take the train there yourself. You will then re-claim your bags, and then take them to the Alaska Airlines check-in desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. This is a difficult connection, but possible if everything goes smoothly. The AA check in counters are in the Main bulding on the side closer to "N" but they are not actually in N (just some Alaska gates are).
