Looking into a flight from Vancouver Canada to San Fransisco with a 45 minute connection in Seattle, is this enough tiem to connect? Will I need to clear immigration/customs in seattle?
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. if both flights are on the same reservation you just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Seattle. You should have enough time.
Hello,
I am flying by Delta from MSP Minneapolis to SEA, but only have 30 minutes for transit then DELTA from SEA to Narita airport in Japan. I am wondering if the connecting time is too short? Thank you for your time and consideration
It's enough time if the flight from MSP is on-time. It obviously leaves no time to spare.
i shall be flying from atlanta to seattle ,taking a connecting flight to vancouver on Alaskan airlines.I have 80 minutes.wil i be able to make the connection????? Do i have to collect my checked baggae in SEA and recheck again ??????????
Are both tickets on the same reservation or two separate reservations? Are both flights on Alaska? If so then all you have to do in Seattle is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I am flying into Seattle on Skywest and departing for Singapore on Delta. I have 39 minutes to make connection and will need a wheelchair. Ist hat enough time to connect and get luggage on?
Is your flight into Seattle an Alaska Airlines flight number or Delta flight number? It's likely barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
I am flying by Alaska airlines to Seattle....the layover for the next connecting international flight (Emirates) is only 1 hr 15 min....Will this time be sufficient to board the next flight...Will there be security check again....Thanku...
If both flights are on the same reservation and the Alaska flight is domestic then all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, no additional security needed. You have enough time.
Thanku so much for a quick reply.....
I have a flight from vancouver to seattle on Alaska air, then connecting to a flight to Cancun. I have 1 hr and 10 minutes to get to the next flight. will I have enough time and will i have to go through immigration and customs for this change?
Yes, that is plenty of time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in Seattle is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Hi,
Arriving from Hawaii on Alaska then have 90 minutes before scheduled BA flights to Heathrow, Do my bags get routed to BA and I just have hand luggage or do I need to pick them up. Concerned by the small amount of time, think I have Concourse C then fly out of South Satellite but process a little unclear, thanks
Its a single reservation by the way. I'vde read some threads and possibly arrive then go straight to south satellite but a little worried
Yes, all you have to do in Seattle is take the underground train tot he South Satellite and board your BA flight. You don't have to do anything with your checked bags. There is no US Customs when leaving the US.
Hi Guys,

I am travelling to NY via Seattle from Anchorage next August.

Alaska Air/American Air is suggesting i land at 22:50 then depart at 23:50. I don't need to collect my bags just change gates.

In your experience do you think this is doable? I am not sure on flights from Alaska if they are notorious for being delayed?

Flight priced have increased in the last month so i am wanting to book in asap.

Thanks so much.
Yes, that should be very possible. Alaska has a fairly good on-time reputation.
What is the fastest way from South West North terminal to Icelandair South terminal
Those are concourses, not terminals. Underground trains connect all gates inside security, however, if you have checked bags you will have to go to the main terminal to claim them from Southwest and then re-check them with Icelandair.
Hi. My family is flying from Detroit to Kona via Seattle. We had a 90 minute layover but the flight schedules have changed and it is now 48 minutes. Although Delta couldn't confirm our arrival and departure gates, currently it looks like we will arrive at a B gate and depart from an S gate. I think we will need to get the tram. Does this sound like enough time? All Delta could tell me is that it is a legal connection. Thanks!
Yes, that is enough time if the flight from Detroit is on-time. Exact gates won't be known until the day of your flight.
Thanks! I'm hoping the weather in Detroit doesn't necessitate de-icing!
