My husband, infant daughter and I are flying Victoria>Seattle>Dubai. Our connection in Seattle is 1.5 hours. I'm concerned this isn't enough time to clear immigration, collect checked bags, clear customs, recheck bags and security....Does anyone have experience with this flight or connection time? Is this enough time for us? We fly Alaska to Seattle and then Emirates from Seattle. All booked on same ticket. Emirates told us today if we miss because we are stuck at immigration we will have to pay $300-600 to rebook and we will be stuck overnight in Seattle...
That should be enough time if the flight from Victoria is on-time.
Do We have enought time to get off the plane switch gates and board next flight to YVR from SEA?
BTW, tickets bought through travelocity and with Checked bags. Flying Alaska Air from SFO then Alaska/Horizon Air from SEA. It is one reservation/itinerary.
All you have to do is walk from one gate to the other. You have plenty of time if the flight from SFO is on-time.
Coming in on Delta from Hong Kong, is 90 minutes enough time to catch an Alaskan Air fright to IAD?
Is it one reservation or two separate reservations? Do you have checked bags?
help
Where are you flying into Seattle from? What airlines are you flying? You need to provide more information.
Hello, I'm flying from Los Angeles to Seattle via Alaskan, due to arrive at 8:55am. I have a connecting flight from Seattle to Shanghai at 11am. My question is if this is enough time to change flights and if I would be going through CBP at LAX or SEA. Both flights are on the same reservation.
There is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do in Seattle is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Appreciate the reply, thank you!

So when I come back, I'll be going from Shanghai to Seattle to Los Angeles, I will be going through US Immigration and Customs at Seattle?
That is correct.
Thanks :)
I have a flight ticket from paris (CDG) to pullman (PUW)...I arrive to Seattle airpot at 15:14 and my flight to pullman is at 17:45! Is it enough time? Do I have to check my bags or they are transferred directly (both flights are on Delta Airlines) ?
Yes, you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. You have enough time.
flying from Phuket to Calgary via Seattle. Do I need to clear US customs in Seattle or just in Calgary. I have same airline with connection through Seattle.
Yes, in Seattle you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. If you are a Filipino citizen you will need a US Transit Visa.
Hi, I am flying Alaska YYJ/SEA landing 0839am and connecting SEA/BOS on Delta at 1145am. Enough time despite need to cleae customs in SEA? Many thanks
Yes, that should be plenty of time - you have over 3 hours!
Dear Zap, thank you very much. Merry Christmas
Hi! I will be traveeling from Pullman to Chennai. And my Alaska Airlines flight from Pullman to Seattle arrives at 7:15 am. And departure time for Seattle to Dubai flight is 9AM. Would that time be enough for me to take my checked in baggages and catch the 9AM flight? Would there be any security check in Seattle?
If both flights are on the same reservation you don't have to do anything with your bags in Seattle or go through security. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, in which case that's plenty of time.
Hi travelling from London to Hawaii, via Seattle, is 2.5 hrs enough time to transit through Seattle. I am on one ticket, but will need to pick up bags and recheck them in Seattle. Thanks
Yes, that is enough time. Yes, in Seattle you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate.
