Is 51 min enough to connect from PDX to RDU via SEA? It looks like PDX-SEA at that time of the day usually lands in N, and SEA-RDU takes off in either N or C. Is 51 min enough to go from N to C?

Yes, that is enough time to get from N to C if necessary.

  • Is 40 minutes enough for layover with Alaska Airlines?

Hey, I'll be flying in from LAX to SEA. There's only a 40 minute layover until the next flight from SEA to BOI. Is that enough time for the checked baggage to be transferred and for me to make it to the plane in time, or should I look at other options?

It is enough time if the first flight is on-time.

DBX to SEA is on Emirates SEA to LAX is on Alaska Air (codeshare with Emirates) Both flights are on same ticket. 1. Will I need to clear Immigration at SEA and travel domestic to LAX? 2. Will I need to collect bags at SEA, recheck the bags at Alaska Air counter & then go through security check to catch my SEA-LAX flight? 3. Is 2 hrs enough time for the transfer? My DBX-SEA flight arrives at 7AM (0700 hrs) Thanks!

Yes, in Seattle you will arrive in the S Satellite, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk right after customs, then go through security and take the underground trains to your departure gate in the C, D, or N concourse. You should have enough time.

How long does it take to walk from JetBlue Gates to Air Canada Gates? ptwzhm

Air Canada and Jetblue both use concourse A, so it should take less than 5 minutes.

I have a 57 min between flights from Seattle to Anchorage. Coming from Boise. Will I have time?

Yes, assuming both flights are on the same reservation that should be enough time. All gates in Seattle are connected inside security.

I'm flying Delta. Are all their gates in the same concourse?

Delta uses gates in S, A, and B concourses.

Hi I have 70 mins for my connecting flight to Dubai. (Emirates) I will come from pdx Alaska. Will this be sufficient time and how far would be the destination terminal?

No, that is completely insufficient for an International to Domestic connection through Seattle. You need at least 90 minutes if both tickets are on the same reservation (preferably 2 hours) If you are purchasing two separate reservations and have checked bags then you need 3 hours. Seattle only has one terminal.

It is other way. I am coming from pdx and going to Dubai. So domestic to international. My check-in will be done in pdx only. Please let me know now

Could you please guide me how to reach S16 from N16? Without security check-in? How much it will take?

You take the underground train to C, walk to B, and then take the underground train to S. There are signs. It shouldn't take more than 20 minutes.

Hi, I try to book at least two hour layovers because I cannot run through terminals as I used to do! Delta just changed my scheduled flight so that I arrive in SEA from DTW at 5:17 pm on June 1 and depart at 6:10 pm for Sitka. It is the only Delta numbered flight to Sitka each day so if I miss it, I miss a whole day of vacation. Is there a way to know how close together the gates will be for the arriving flight from DTW and the departing flight to SIT? Thank you!

There's really no way of knowing, Delta's gates at SEA are spread out because they are growing so fast there. You could call delta and because of the involuntary schedule change, request that they rebook you on an earlier flight from Detroit if you can do that.

That's just enough time if everything is on the same reservation and everything goes smoothly.

Yes, you take the train from N to C, then walk from C to A or B, then take the Train to S.

It's enough time if your flight from SFO is on-time.

  • MSP to DXB via SEA - need info regarding transit in SEA

I am flying from MSP to SEA on Alaska airlines to catch the flight to Dubai(Emirates). How do I go to South satellite from C,D or N gates. I read there is an underground train but somehow I couldn't find in terminal maps. Could you please explain in details how to transit between C,D or N to S gates without going thru security again.

If you arrive in C or D you will walk to A or B and take the underground train from there - there will be signs pointing to S. If you arrive in N you will have to take a different underground train to C or D first.

I, too, am scheduling a flight from DEN via SEA to Dubai. Is 1hr 56mins enough time to make that connection?

Yes, that should be enough time.

My airline just rescheduled my flight. I now only have 2 hours to connect from a flight coming in from Japan (ANA) and transit to an Alaska Airlines to Fairbanks (separate booking). Is 2 hours sufficient to clear the international immigration, customs etc, and make it for check-in at the Alaska Airlines? I will be having 1 check-in bag.

2 hours is not enough time when on two separate reservations with checked bags because you will have to go to the main terminal to reclaim your bag after going through customs and then re-check it at the Alaska check-in counter. If ANA changed your flight time maybe have them change it to fly in the day before. If Alaska changed it have them change you to a later flight to Fairbanks.
