We are flying in from LAX on Southwest, arriving at 11:10am, with checked bags. We have a flight on Lufthansa at 2pm. Will that be enough time? Am I correct at assuming we will have to get off the plane, go get our bags at the carousel and do normal check-in for Lufthansa? Any information or tips is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly. Yes, you have the procedure correct.
I'm not familiar with the layout of SEA, so forgive me for such a simple question. IS 40 minutes layover time enough for me coming in from Redmond Or headed to Vegas all on Alaska?
I have one hour to get to Condor Air flight after arriving on Alaska Air tomorrow. Will I have time? Take underground train to South Satellite?
If both flights are on the same reservation that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Hi. I arrive on BA from Heathrow at 11.20a.m and will then be catching a delta flight to Vancouver. Think I have to collect luggage go though customs and check in again (I've two different tickets). How long should I allow to be safe?
On two separate reservations you need at least 3 hours between flights, preferably a little longer, as the process in Seattle is quite complicated.
I have two options for flights from San Jose headed to Vancouver Canada.
One gives me a 2 hour connection in Seattle, the other gives 3 hours. I wondering if 2 hours is enough time if I have a checked bag or if I should just go with the 3 hour connection.
Thanks!
2 hours is enough time if everything is on the same reservation. All you have to do in Seattle is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
My wife and I will be returning from Taipei to Seattle on Monday April the 3rd. We land at 7:30pm and have a 2h15m layover before our next domestic flight. Is that enough time to catch the domestic flight?
Yes, that should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Thank you for the quick response. I forgot to mention we have checked bags. Will that change anything?
You still have enough time. You will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate.
Arriving in SEA from Edmonton, Canada on Alaska Air at 715 Am. Connection departs at 835 Am on Hawaiian Air to Honolulu where we then depart to New Zealand. Will we have enough time to connect? Do we need to go through customs in SEA?
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Edmonton. Are all your flights on the same reservation or two separate reservations? Do you have checked bags?
Its the same reservation and we may be checking a bag.
In that case all you have to do in Seattle is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
I have and Alaska Airline flight coming in From Anchorage at 9:20 am and I must to an AmericanAirlines flight to DFW at 10:10.am. Do I have time even that they are in two different terminals? Do I have to go throughTSA security changing terminals?
Seattle only has one Terminal. If both flights are on the same reservation all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
We are Canadian coming from Victoria BC to Seattle then connecting to LAX. We have 1.5hrs between arriving in Seattle and taking our connection flight to LAX> Can someone explain to me where I go to grab my luggage, then to customs, then drop off baggage, then go thru security. is this all in the same area, different floors etc.... I am worried if I don't know my way around we wont have time. There is 5 adults and 4 children in our group.
You will arrive in the S Satellite, all of those procedures will take place in the basement of the S Satellite. If your flight to LAX also departs from the S Satellite you will then just go upstairs. If you depart from a different concourse you will take the underground train there after going through security. You should have enough time.
My Delta flight from Victoria, BC arrives on a Monday at 5:05pm, and my connection (domestic flight) departs at 6:15pm. My luggage is a carry-on, and I am a US citizen. Will that be enough time for re-entry and connection to my flight? Any idea what the wait times are like at SEA-TAC immigration/customs? Thanks!
With carry-ons only you should be OK.
