Hello, I will be arriving into Seattle from heathrow 30may at 15.18. Departing for Salt Lake City at 17:55. Does 2.5 hours leave us enough time to get through customs? Many thanks.

Yes, that should be plenty of time.

I arrive at Seattle airport from Portland with Delta or Alaska airlines (I still haven't booked) and I have 4 hours left to my flight to Frankfurt (Lufthansa). I have to check in my luggage again. At wich terminal do I arrive and where do I leave? How are they connected? Is it easier changing terminals with Alaska or Delta airlines? Thanks :)

Seattle only has one terminal. The connection procedure will be equal if you are buying two separate tickets. All Baggage Claims and Ticket counters are in the same building.

vancouver BC to seattle to amsterdam I am flying in from vancouver to seattle to amsterdam through Delta, tickets purchased together. How will connecting through Seattle be? Do I have to get my baggage or clear customs? Thanks

Seattle only has one terminal. You will arrive in the S Satellite, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then put your bags on a conveyor belt to the main terminal then take a train there yourself. Then you will have to take your bag to the Delta or Alaska check-in desk.

  • CONNECTING TIME

I'm flying in from Dubai, landing at 12h55 and would like to take the 15h00 Alaska Air flight to Portland. Will I have enough time to clear customs, collect luggage and check in for domestic flight - or should I look at a later option. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Assuming you purchased your tickets together that is enough time. If you are purchasing two separate tickets would want closer to 3 hours between my flights.

  • Arriving from Phoneix and going to Dubai from Emirates

Hi, I am arriving to Seattle from Phoneix on American Airlines at 1:30 PM and have a connecting flight to Dubai through Emirates at 5:40 PM. I have seperate tickets. I am assuming that I have to collect my check in baggage and check back again at Emirates counter. Could you please let me know the way to Emirates counter once I collect my baggage from American Airlines. Also do I have sufficient time? Also, I am not a US citizen

Seattle only has one terminal, All you have to do in Seattle after you claim your bags is go to the departure level and find the Emirates check-in desk. You should have plenty of time.

  • Seattle to Denver

I am planning to take a flight from Taipei to Seattle by EVA Air, and then take Alaska Air to Denver. I will have 2 hours and 15 minutes layover in Seattle. Will I have enough time to go through custom and recheck luggage to Alaska Air?

Buying two separate tickets this would be a bit difficult as you will have to transfer to the main terminal to re-check your baggage. Purchased one one reservation this should be OK.

I'm flying on Delta from PDX to SEA with a layover in SEA of 40min to catch Delta to CDG, will I have enough time?Thank you

That should be enough time if your first flight is on-time. All Delta gates at SEA are connected inside security by an underground train.

Hi I'm flying into Seattle from Honolulu arriving I think at N9 with a connecting flight to Eugene 40 minutes later that leaves from C7 will I be able to make my connecting flight? I'm flying Alakan with carry on only. Thank you!

That should be enough time if your first flight is on-time. C and N are connected inside security by an underground train.

I am coming to seattle from San Francisco by Compass DBA & have to catch Delta flight going to Paris, The lay over time is 1 hour 20 minutes, will it be sufficient to travel from domestic to international terminals.

Yes, that is enough time. Seattle only has one terminal. You may just have to change gate areas. All gates are connected inside security by underground trains.

My dad will be arrived at SEA from China by Hainan Airline, and he will take alaska airline to San Francisco, he has 3 hours 50 mins layover, is it enough for him to go through the custom and re-check his baggage?

Yes, that should be enough time.

  • Transfer from Delta to Alaskan

My family arrives at SEA at 6.56pm from SYD via LAX and we are thinking about booking the 8:30pm Alaskan flight to DEN. There is 6 of us and we need to collect checked luggage. Do we have a chance with 94 minutes between flights?

That would be pretty difficult to make it if purchasing two separate tickets as you will have to transfer your bags yourself. Also, Alaska Airlines doesn't fly nonstop from LAX to DEN, sot hat flight you're looking at is operated by another airline, probably American.

  • Concourse C to Gates A or S in one hour?
    May 1, 2015

Hi: I'm arriving in Seattle on Alaska Airlines from Boise, and it looks like the flight usually arrives at Concourse C. We have one hour before our Delta flight departs to Paris (S or A gate; Flight 3653 has used both). We are carrying on baggage. The flights are on the same itinerary, and since Alaska and Delta are partners, I asume we will get boarding passes for Delta in Boise. Is an hour enough time to get to the Delta flight? Do we walk from the C gate to A or S, or take a train? Thanks!

Yes that should be enough time and Alaska should be able to issue both boarding passes in Boise. You can walk from C to A. You have to take a train to S.

    Great! Thank you!

  • Connection time of 1:15 hr between Domestic & international

I am flying from Anchorage to Calgary via Seattle with both flights on Delta Airlines ,I only have 1:15 hr connection time between flights are the gates close by and how long to go through security & immigration ?

You do not go through US Immigration when leaving the US. You will go through Canadian Immigration when you get to Calgary. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Seattle. Delta uses gates in the A, B, and S concourses. S is connected to A and B by an underground train inside security.

  • Immigration and customs in seattle. 1 hr 50 mins layover

ill be flying from ICN-SEA-JNU ICN-SEA with a 1 Hr and 50 min layover, with a connection SEA-JNU "alaska air" Do i go through immigration and customs, and then out the gate. and then go back into the TSA line for my connection with alaska air? or do i go through customs and i will be able to go straight to alaska air gate with out being checked again from TSA? also how close would it be with me seated in the back of my plane seat 44 "boeing 777-300 er" with 1hr 50 mins? dan

In Seattle you will arrive in the S concourse, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the transfer desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. Your flight to Juneau will leave from the C, D, or N concourse. You should have enough time if everything goes smoothly.

  • sufficient time to make connection?

Would 1hr55min be enough time to connect coming in on lufthansa from frankfurt and connecting to a Southwest flight? Flying business coming in and also have global entry and planning only carry on. what if i have to check my bag? still enough time?

    What airport?

    Sorry-coming into seattle

    Frankfurt-sea-smf

Without checked bags if you check in for your Southwest flight and print out your boarding pass before you leave Germany, I think you can do it. However, with a checked bag, I don't think you will get your bag to the Southwest check-in desk before the cutoff.
