am arriving in SEA on ANA, then transit via Alaska Air to PDX. My Agent tells me she cant ticket on 1 ticket and check baggage all the way through. I have 3 hrs this enough time ? How challenging will this be ? on the return flight, similar 3 hr transit time
appreciate your guidance
3 hours should be enough time both ways, it's a little tight on the way to Portland.
alaska air from SFO and Icelandair to Kef booked on one ticket on Icelandair. our luggage will be checked all the way thru to Kef at SFO. so all we have to do is get from alaska domestic arrival to icelandair international departure in another terminal. is 71 minutes really enough time to accomplish this? should we trust icelandair that it works, since this is sold on their website?
You should be fine.
if the alaska airlines flight from SFO is delayed, will the icelandair hold their flight to wait for us? or would we still make it, if alaska flight is delayed half an hour? thanks for your input.
They likely won't wait for you.
I am flying into SEA at 7am and connecting flight departs at 8:15am to Charleston, NC. All flights are through Alaska. Will I have enough time to transfer between the two flights?
Yes, that should be enough time if your first flight is domestic. You just have to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Also Charleston is in South Carolina.
I'm traveling from Sacramento to Seattle then on to Iceland on one ticket, but two airlines (Alaska and Icelandic). My layover is approx 1 hr 50 min. Will I have time to get to the International terminal?
Yes that is enough time. All you have to do in Seattle is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Seattle doesn't have a separate international terminal.
If I arrive on Hawaiian Air at 11:15 pm with one checked bag will I be able to make a connection to Alaska air at 12:30 am?
That's barely enough time if you have checked bags
I'm traveling from Vancouver to Frankfurt but I have a 4 hour layover in Seattle. Should I pick up my luggage in Seattle or will it go straight to Frankfurt
If both flights are on the same reservation your bags will go straight to Frankfurt as you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver.
They just sent notice of change in times for both flight segments. Now only have 43 minutes with arrival in SEA at 12:52pm and depart SEA at 1:35pm on Alaska Airlines (with first leg operated by Horizon). Is this enough time (can do carryon only if would help)
Yes, that is enough time if the flight from Spokane is on-time. You can reject the schedule change and ask for an earlier flight from Spokane if you want though.
I'm arriving in SEA on Southwest and catching my connecting flight with Jet Blue. I have a window of 1hr and 24min. I will have one checked bag. Is this enough time to make the connecting flight?
It's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly. You will have to claim your bag from Southwest, re-check it with JetBlue and go through security.
I'm arriving at 9:30 Via Alaska Airlines at SEA. My connecting flight is with Southwest at 10:20. That gives me 50min. I will have 1 checked bag with me. Will I have enough time to make my connection?
What's the quickest process to save time?
You have zero chance of making that with a checked bag.
Thanks! I'll find a later flight
Hi, I have 1 hour between my scheduled arrival from Vancouver with Air Canada to leaving for Japan with ANA. Is this enough time. we only have hand luggage.
Yes, that should be enough time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver.
Many thanks, I was getting worried
