Hi, I will be arriving on Alaska airlines from Vancouver at 12:48pm and departing Iceland air to Reykjavik at 4:20 pm. Seperate bookings, checked luggage for both airlines. Is this enough time? Do we have to leave security and redo to recheck bags with Iceland air? Thanks for the help
Yes, you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver, but in Seattle you will have to go to the main terminal, claim your bags, re-check them with Icelandair, then go through security and to your departure gate.
Hello-how much connection time is recommended from PDX-SEA for clients then going on to Lihue?
Clients currently have 55 min connection time -and have heard of long delays due to construction in SEA ......should they get an earlier flight....concerned about them making the 11:40 am SEA-LIH

Same w/ return-- arriving in at 8:08 pm to SEA--connection to PDX is at 9 pm- ....do not want them to miss and have to overnite in SEA. Thank you
Those connection times should be sufficient.
I'll arrive around 12:51 pm on Thursday and next plain will be 2:01 pm.
I know I need to pass immigration and customs.
I wonder if 1hr is enough to catch my next flight.

thanks.
My friend went from Seattle to Canada with your itinerary with 2 hour but it was very difficult although it was on end of vacation timing so high rush. It seems you can make but depend on your timings but with high risk.
70 minutes is not enough time.
I am arriving on an Asiana Flight from Seoul Korea at 12:50PM. I need to catch a domestic flight from SEA to STL on an Alaskan Airlines (departing 3:30PM). Will the 2.5 hours be enough to go through immigration and customs and re-check in my luggage? Thanks
That should be just enough time.
How much layover time should I have for a connecting flight from Alaska air to Icelandic air?
If it's one reservation, 60 minutes, if it's two separate reservations, 2.5 hours.
Hi
I have a DL flight from SMF to SEA and a connecting flight SEA-AMS with 1:00 hr connecting time (on 1 ticket). Would 1 hr be sufficient to transfer gate to gate? Do I need to pass customs/immigrations, pick up & check-in luggage @ SEA?
Yes, that is enough time. There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do on your way to Amsterdam is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Hi, I am flying out of Victoria and have 1:12 min connection to O'Hare in Seattle. Will it be enough time to clear customs and make my flight??
That's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly and both flights are on the same reservation.
If I just have carry on will that make a difference?
Yes, that will help quite a bit.
My flight will arrive from Paris, and I have connecting flight to Vancouver. (2h20 for transfer, same reservation). Have I to go through the immigration procedure? I am Hungarian citizen. This is important for me, because of visa-requirement.

Yes, you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate.
Hi - I'm on Alaska flight 2269 arriving at 10:55 from Vancouver and then flight 432 leaving at 12:15 for Santa Barbara.

Where do I go through Customs? Is there going to be an issue making the 12:15 flight time?

Thanks
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver, so all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Seattle. You have enough time.
I've only got an hour to catch yet another connection to Portland. Do I have a hope in hell? I'm traveling on Delta, with a Canadian passport and baggage.
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Edmonton, so all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Seattle. You have enough time.
Thank god! And you Zap, that gives me some piece of mind.
