I am a Canadian citizen travelling home from Fairbanks AK. I am travelling to Seattle then Vancouver, then on to Kelowna. Where do I go through customs and do I claim luggage somewhere or does it go right through to destination as it did on my flight up here?
You will go through Canadian Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. There is no US Customs when leaving the US.
I'm flying from Alaska late on September 26 and will need to store boxed, frozen fish overnight that I have caught until I am scheduled to leave Seattle the next day for Denver on a different airline. Do you provide this service? I was told this service was available for a fee. Where do I go? Is the facility open at midnight when I arrive?
This is not the airport's website. The service that provided the frozen fish storage (ken's baggage service) has reportedly closed.
I am a British citizen. I plan to fly Delta from Anchorage ANC to Seattle SEA and then on the same day by BA/American from SEA to London Heathrow LHR. I guess I will not be able to check my bags through from ANC to LHR but will I have clear customs on arrival in SEA from ANC and then again on departure from SEA to LHR?
There is no US Customs when traveling on domestic flights or when departing the US. All you have to do in Seattle is claim your bags from Delta, check them with British Airways, and go through security and to your departure gate.
Hi there, my mom is flying from Incheon Airport to Seatac, and Seattle is her last destination. While she cannot speak English at all, I hope you can help me to figure out several issues: 1, is the baggage claim in South Satellite or in the main terminal? 2, if the baggage claim is in the South Satellite, which direction should she go when she gets out of US Custom? 3, if the baggage claim is in the main terminal and she has to take a train, should she take the UP or DOWN escalator for the train to the Baggage Claim when she gets out of US custom?
I am a flying from Anchorage (ANC) to Seattle (SEA) to Charlotte (CLT). If the flight from ANC lands in Seattle at 11:26 PM and the flight to CLT takes of at 12:15 AM will there be enough time to make the connecting flight?
What airlines are you flying? Are both flights on the same reservation?
Flying Delta from Anchorage to Seattle and American from Seattle to Charlotte. The flights were booked seperately.
With no checked bags it's possible but leaves no time to spare. With checked bags it is impossible.
I am a US citizen. I will arrive from LHR on BA at 11:15am. I will need to transfer to an Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air flight 2163 at 1:30pm, heading to PDX. I am trying to book the Alaska Airlines flight on the same ticket at the BA flight but it may end up being two separate tickets. Presumably in either case I will need to clear customs, get my bags and recheck my bags and then go to board the flight. Is 2 hours 15 minutes enough time? Do you know where I will arrive on flight BA 53, and where will I need to go in the airport to retrieve and recheck the bags and then to go board Alaska/Horizon flight 2163? I did something similar many years ago but can't remember the details and am not sure what has changed.
If it's the same reservation then that is enough time. If it's two separate reservations it's not. You will arrive in the S Satellite and all the procedures will be in the basement of the S Satellite. You will depart from C or D.
How long does it typically take to receive your bags from a flight originating from YYJ Victoria and recheck at SEA before being able to head to the connecting gate? Is an hour and 10 minutes enough time?
That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
