ESH Airport Overview
Shoreham Airport ESH was the first commercial aerodrome in Britain, but is now used almost exclusively for light aircraft and helicopter flights. The art-deco terminal building is a famous tourist attraction in Sussex and official guided tours are offered daily. It is used mainly for flying activities on the South Coast of England and there is a popular D-Day museum on the site. As the oldest licensed airport in the UK, Shoreham Airport offers everything for a great day out including guided tours, a bar and restaurant and even trial flying lessons.
