Sonoma County STS Airport Overview

Santa Rosa Sonoma County C. M. Schulz Airport STS - or simply referred to as 'Sonoma County' or 'Santa Rosa' Airport - serves California's Sonoma County and its surrounding 'Wine Country' area - accessible  to county residents of Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, and Sonoma. It is 55 miles north of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge.

STS Airport - 4 miles northwest of Santa Rosa, is accessible via Highway 101 (take Airport Blvd exit, drive west for 1.5 miles).

With over 240K passengers per year, Sonoma County Airport is currently served by Alaska airlines (tel. 800-252-7522), offering presently flights to Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland & San Diego,  with connections around the globe.

NOTE: if checking in baggage, arrive at the Terminal 90 mins prior to departure; otherwise 60 mins will suffice.  Keep in mind that baggage check closes 40 mins, check-in counters 30 mins, and boarding doors 12 mins prior to departure. 

The passenger terminal of Sonoma County Airport  recently completed its expansion & remodeling project.  The Sky Lounge Steakhouse & Raw Bar is open 8am-8pm; a 'Grab & Go' menu is served 4:30-8am daily at the terminal kiosk.  Lyft rideshare is now available, in addition to 'Pure Luxury Transportation (800) 626-5466.
