- STS Airport Overview
Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport STS, also known as Sonoma County Airport or Santa Rosa Airport, is located a few miles northwest of Santa Rosa, serving Sonoma County and the surrounding Wine Country area in California. The airport can be reached via Highway 101 (4 miles north of Santa Rosa).
Sonoma County Airport is conveniently located for visitors and residents of Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, and Sonoma Counties, because its flights offer connections to destinations anywhere in the US and abroad. Horizon Air is currently the only airline serving Sonoma County Airport. It offers nonstop flights to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland, and Seattle.
Other types of operation in and out of STS include air cargo, private and corporate flights, military, search and rescue, fire fighting, law enforcement and training. STS is owned and operated by the County of Sonoma and is a division of the Department of Transportation and Public Works.
Ample parking is available and the terminal has a restaurant and bar serving lunch and dinner seven days a week.
