The passenger terminal at South Bend Regional Airport has received extensive renovation and expansion  work, adding 45,000 square feet to the Concourse with five new gates and loading bridges, and will receive consolidated passenger screening operations into a single expanded location. An arching translucent panel roof now provides bright daylight and large windows.

Services and amenities inside the terminal include a children's play area, internet access , a full-service deli,  aGift Shop; a Business Center west of door F & free to all business travelers, with WiFi access, laptop charging stations & work desks.
Rental car counters for Avis, Enterprise, Hertz & National are located near the baggage claim area.
