Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
State College Airport has one security checkpoint located on the second floor of the terminal building. The checkpoint is open daily from 4:30am to 7:00pm and is staffed by TSA agents. Passengers are required to remove their shoes, belts, and jackets, and place all personal items and electronics in bins for screening. Liquids must be in containers of 3.4 ounces or less and placed in a clear, plastic, quart-sized bag. Passengers with TSA PreCheck can use the expedited screening lane.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
State College Airport does not currently offer fast track lanes for expedited security screening. However, passengers with TSA PreCheck can use the expedited screening lane at the security checkpoint.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
SCE Airport does not have international flights and therefore does not have passport and immigration control locations.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
The airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for low-risk travelers, meaning they can keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets, and leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags. This program is available for eligible passengers who have applied and been approved for TSA Pre Check.
Global Entry Locations
SCE does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center, but there are several nearby locations where travelers can apply for Global Entry. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. The closest enrollment centers to State College Airport are in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. To apply for Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and schedule an in-person interview at an enrollment center.

Airport Lounge Locations
State College Airport may be small, but it still offers a few lounges for travelers to relax in before their flight. The only lounge available at this airport is the Penn State Federal Credit Union Lounge, which is located in the main terminal. This lounge is available to members of the Penn State Federal Credit Union, as well as members of certain partner credit unions.
