TLH Airport Overview
The Tallahassee Regional Airport TLH is located seven miles southwest of Tallahassee's central business district. It is a small airport that supports commercial airlines, corporate aviation, commuter and charter services and a wide variety of other private aviation activities. The Airport accounts for a third of air passenger travel in the Northwest Florida Region, which includes Tallahassee and 32 counties in Florida, Georgia and Alabama. TLH airport is served by Delta, Continental, Northwest Airlink, US Airways and American Eagle, offering nonstop service to Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas/Ft.Worth, and several cities in Florida. Additionally, US Airways is to add daily nonstop service to Washington's Ronald Reagan Airport, starting mid-2010. More than 704,000 passengers used the Airport in 2008.
The passenger terminal with 14 gates has undergone considerable renovation and offers a business center with workstations & computer modems; Danny White offers video games, pool table and vending machines stocked with snacks and drinks. The terminal has also a news & gift shop, a shoeshine stand, Smarte carts, restaurants at pre- and post security, and a massage center.
The hourly and daily public parking lot is located directly north of the main terminal building and has total capacity of 1,711 spaces (1,375 daily and 336 hourly). Free parking is available for the first 30 minutes. Cash and credit cards are accepted. 'E-Ticket Express' allows customers to quickly swipe their credit card for entry into the parking lot and then again upon exiting.
To get to your destination from the Airport, you can rent a car or take the City Taxi or Yellow Cab, Mike's Limousine Service, a hotel shuttle, or a variety of bus services.
