Here are a few tips to help make your visit with us quicker, easier and more enjoyable. With the addition of new, state-of-the-art baggage screening devices TLH Airport's procedures for passenger check-in have changed. The following guidelines provide step-by-step details on this new process.
Regular Checked Bags
1. Proceed to the ticket counter or automated kiosk 2. Check-in with the ticketing agent 3. Bring your bags to the baggage screening line 4. Drop your bags with a TSA Officer 5. Proceed to the passenger checkpoint
Curbside Check-in
1. Check-in bags with the skycaps 2. Proceed to the passenger check point.
No Checked Bags
1. Proceed to the ticket counter to check-in with the ticketing agent or go directly to the automated kiosk 2. Proceed to the passenger check point
*Baggage screening may ruin undeveloped film; please remove film before giving your bags to the operator.
Passenger Check Point
* Place keys, change and other metal objects in your carry-on * Remove laptop computers from their carrying case * Outer garments and footwear must be removed and sent through the x-ray machine * No liquids, gels, and aerosol cans are permitted past the checkpoint, with the exception of: Baby formula or breast milk, if the child is traveling. * Liquid prescription medication, if name matches ticketed passenger. * Up to 5 oz. of glucose for diabetic needs * Up to 4 oz. of essential non-prescription liquid medication.
Additional Travel Tips
* Allow time for security checks; arrive at least 1.5 hours before your flight * Have a government photo ID ready at ticket counters. * Keep your baggage with you at all times * Talk to children about security screening procedures before traveling with them * Please be patient with federal screeners, airline representatives and other passengers * Please pack all liquids, gels and aerosols in your checked baggage. * Additionally, any liquids purchased past the checkpoint must be disposed of before boarding the aircraft.
