We are flying from Charlotte to Toronto with AA, We have a layerover of 1h30 then connecting to Edmonton with AA operated by Westjet. Is 1h30 enough to clear customs? how far is it from terminal 3 to the customs area?
Yes, that is enough time. The Customs area is IN Terminal 3.
Just wondering, we have a flight with Air Canada we go from Halifax to Atlanta with a layover in Toronto. our layover is only 1 hour and 20 minutes, will this be enough time? Also do we have to get our luggage in Toronto or will it just be put on the connecting flight? Lastly what is the process in Toronto during connections?
Yes, that is enough time. In Toronto you will go through US Immigration and Customs Preclearance where your bags will be waiting for you.
US residents traveling to YQB via YYZ. AC is selling tickets with about 1h25m transit time on both sides. Since we have to do customs into Canada inbound and preclearance into the US outbound. Is this enough time? I am told that preclearance lines are really long in August..
That should be enough time.
I have a flight to catch from toronto to newwark with 40 minutes to finish
immigration. Is this possible?
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. If both flights are on the same reservation, all you have to do in Newark is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. I can help you more if you post what airlines you are flying and where you are connecting to.
I'm sorry, I may have misread your post. Are you connecting in Toronto or in Newark? Please post your entire itinerary (including airlines).
will be flying from Halifax to Amsterdam with connection in Toronto. is 1 hour 43 minutes enough time for a connection the next choice is 4 hrs 30 minutes. do not want to miss or run for flight. Also for way back land in
Toronto and will have to clear customs before going to Halifax......is 2 hrs 30 minutes enough or do I need to book the 5 hour layover?
Ye,s that is enough time for both connections.
We are arriving from Philadelphia @ Toronto Pearson Airport flying AA operated by American Eagle landing at 7:55 pm and our connecting flight with AA operated by Westjet leaves at 9:30 pm to Halifax . does that give us enough time to catch connecting flight and do we go through customs in Toronto and do we need to collect our bags..
That should be enough time. Yes, you go through Canadian immigration and customs in Toronto. You may have to claim your bags.
Hi,
I'm a Canadian and will be returning from Munich at Terminal 1 and will have 1 hr and 20 minutes to transfer to Terminal M for a domestic flight back home to YVR (Vancouver). Is this enough time? Will I need to clear customs and transfer terminals as well? Both flights are on same reservation through Lufthansa. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Toronto does not have a "Terminal M". Both flights are in Terminal 1. The second flight will be operated by Air Canada. You have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi, my flight has a two hours layover. I am coming from Vancouver and connecting in Toronto headed to LIsbon Portugal, do you think this is enough time?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do in Toronto is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate if both flights are on the same reservation.
Flying from LAX TO Rome with 1.5 hr layover in Toronto.
Is 1.5 hours enough time ?
We are US citizens, do we have to go thru customs on our way to Rome?
Flying back to LAX from Venice with 1 hr and 40 min layover. Is it enough time >
You will go through Canadian passport control when you arrive in Toronto then go to your departure gate. You will go through Schengen Entry passport control in Rome. On the return you will go through Schengen exit passport control in Rome and then proceed directly to US Immigration and Customs Preclearance in Toronto. Both connections should be sufficient if all flights are on Air Canada.
United States citizen, I won't have a checked bag and have Mobile Passport. Is a 1 hour and 25-minute layover enough time in YYZ to go through customs?
Yes, that should be enough time if the flight from London is on-time.
