I am travelling from Montreal to Nassau on Westjet with a plane change in Toronto. We have a 55 minute connection time in Toronto. Is that enough time?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I am travelling on Westjet from London Gatwick to Montreal. I have a 1hr 15minute lay over in Toronto which seems very short, can I make this transfer?
It's possible, barely, if the first flight is on-time, but it leaves no time to spare and Westjet's transatlantic flights are often delayed.
Flying from YYC to YYZ T-3 via Westjet at 1610 and connecting to AMS on KLM, at 17:15 from T-3 as well. We will only have carry on bags. How tight it might be assuming the flights are on time ? Any ideas please ?
If you can check in online for your KLM flight you should have enough time if the Westjet flight is on-time. You just have to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thanks Zap. 👍🏼
I am traveling on Canadian Air from MSP to YYZ arriving 7PM and then overnight layover leaving at 8:30 am for PLS. Will I need to go through Canadian Customs due to the long layover? I was thinking of bringing carry on luggage only.
There is no airline called "Canadian Air". Do you mean "Air Canada"? Yes, you will have to go through Canadian Immigration and Customs.

I'm travelling on seperate resevations - London Gatwick - Toronto on Westjet then Toronto - Detroit on a Westjet / Delta codeshare. I have 2 hours 15 mins between landing and departing both in Terminal 3.

Will this be enough time between flights?
Considering the Westjet transatlantic flights are VERY frequently delayed, I think that's very risky. However, if it isn't delayed, I think it should just be possible if you don't have checked bags. If you do have checked bags, show your Detroit confirmation to the Westjet agent in London and ask if they can check your bags through to Detroit.
Hello, I am flight with Air Canada with a 1 year old from Brussels to Costa Rica. The first flight is operated by Brussels Airlines and I was wondering if I need to take my luggage in Toronto or if it goes directly to the final destination. Do you know if we get the stroller at the gate or does it also go to our final destination? is 2 hours and 30 minutes enough time? Thanks
Your bags should go straight to your destination. If both flights are on the same reservation you should just go through Canadian passport control and to your departure gate. You can request when you check the stroller that it be brought up the gate in Toronto rather than sent to San Jose. You should have enough time.
We are flying Air Canada Pittsburgh through Toronto changing flights to Vancouver, also Air Canada. Do we go through customs and immigration in Toronto or Vancouver? If toronto, is two hours enough time?
It will be in Toronto and yes, that is enough time.
We will have checked luggage thru to Vancouver. Will we have to claim the luggage to go through customs and immigration and recheck?
Call to Air Canada indicates that unless there is a random check or something suspicious in the bag via xray then we will not have to pick up the bags, assuming they are checked through to Vancouver
I am arriving on Cathy Pacific from Hong Kong at 1355 at Toronto and have a connecting flight American Airline to Miami in 2 hrs, will it be enough time for immigration, baggage claim, then re check baggage, security screening and US custom. I am neither a permanent resident of Canada nor US.
If both tickets are on the same reservation all you have to to in Toronto is proceed directly to US Immigration and Customs Preclearance. That should be enough time.
We're flying on Air Canada and I'm wondering if our checked in luggage needs to be picked up in Toronto and re-checked or do we just go through US customers and to the departure gate?
You will have to ask the USCIS agents at Pre-Clearance in Toronto. From what I hear it is now a more automated process.
i am arriving on air canada flight from delhi at 5am at toronto and have a connecting flight to vancouver in 2hrs will it be enough for immigration, baggage claim then again re check the baggage and security screening my vancouver flight is also air canada and i am a permanent resident of canada
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
