I will fly from Montreal to London with a connection in Toronto. I will land in Toronto at 7:55 PM and I have 1hr05min of layover in Toronto. Will that be enough time? Both flights are on the same reservation with WestJet.
I booked the ticket with united web , I flight from ORD with united airline to Toronto airport then I will flight with eva air to Taipei , 2hrs 15minutes to connect , do I have enough times to get connection flight and do I need to going through Canada immigration ?
You just have to go through Canadian passport control and then to your departure gate. You have enough time.
do I need to get my luggage and check back in with eva airways ?
Hi there! My husband and I are traveling from Winnipeg to NYC with connection in Toronto (1hr37mins). We booked via expedia. The itinerary states both flights are with American Airlines with the first leg being operated by WestJet and the second by American Eagle. Will we have to collect our bags in Toronto and go through the whole check in process again and if so, is it likely we will have enough time? Thanks!
You will not have to check in all again in Toronto. In Toronto you will go to US Immigration and Customs Preclearance where your bags will be waiting for you. You will be issued both boarding passes in Winnipeg.
I will be traveling from Boston to Montreal, and from Montreal to Toronto, and from Toronto to Korea. (All by Air Canada) When I arrive at Montreal, I have only 60mins of transferring time. And, when I arrive at Toronto, I have like 63mins to transfer. So.. 1) Is that an enough time to catch the next flight in the airport of Montreal and Toronto? 2) In which airport should I claim my baggage? (Montreal or Toronto) Many thanks for your help.
You shouldn't have to claim your bags at EITHER airport. You should have just enough time in Montreal as you will have to go through Canadian passport control. In Toronto all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Please let me know that if some one is flying on Jetair delhi to Halifax via Toronto as a tourist then is the immigration process done at the POe i.e. Toronto or at Halifax also is the luggage to be claimed and rechecked Into westjet from Toronto to Halifax when it's on the same booking ?
Thanks well in advance for your responses
You will go through Canadian Immigration and Customs in Toronto. Ask the Border Canada agents whether or not you will have to claim and re-check your bags.
I will be travelling to Montreal from Cleveland with a connection in Toronto on December 29th. Both flights were reserved via United Website. CLE to YYZ will be operated by Air Georgian and YYZ to YUL will be operated by Air Canada. Do you think 1hr 35mins connection time is enough for this transit? Do I need to pick up my check-in baggage on YYZ and re-check it?
Yes, that should be enough time. Passengers coming from the US on Air Canada usually do not have to claim their bags to go through Canadian Customs in Toronto, but check with Border Canada.
My husband and I will be flying into YYZ with Westjet ( from Jamaica) in the evening Jan 6th with a connection 2 hrs 48 minutes later with Westjet again to calgary. My friend said we have to claim luggage and go through customs and that we probably won't have enough time to make the connection because customs and checking in and dealing with luggage will take too long...is 2hr 48 enough time? Have never flown into YYZ and she says customs is far away from arrivals. Thanks
I will be flying from Dublin to Ottawa and have a 1h55 layover in Toronto. I know I need to change terminals. Will this be enough time to make my connection? Do I need to recheck my luggage in Toronto?
What airlines are you flying? Are you on one reservation or two separate reservations?
I'm flying with Aer Lingus and it was booked on the same reservation!
Sorry, Aer Lingus and Air Canada
You will have to ask Border Canada whether or not you will have to claim your bags or not to go through US Customs. I believe most passengers arriving in Terminal 3 do. You should have just enough time if everything goes smoothly. If you miss your connection, Air Canada has very frequent flights from Toronto to Ottawa.
Hi. I'm flying with Air Canada from Boston to Torronto then Seoul, Korea. My connection time is 1h 10m in the morning. Both of flight are Air Canada and as I know I don't need to claim the baggage. But is it enough time to transfer? Same with going back flight which is 1h 30m connection time?
