The Airport is located within the municipalities of Redondela, Vigo and Mos, 8 km from Vigo, and 28 km from Pontevedra, and can be accessed from E-1 (exit 157) via N555 (N-555 also connects to Av. Aeroporto). A-55 connects at exit 662A to E-1 North.

The Ground level houses both Arrivals & Departure facilities:
- the Arrivals facilities with baggage claim, passport control, customs, & Arrivals lobby with rental car counters, a Relay shop, Vat refund and National Police. Passengers via airbridge arrive on Level 1, while passengers transferred by bus will have access directly to the baggage claim area on the ground level, which also houses the Iberia & Spanair Lost luggage desks and the rental car desks. ATM cash machines are available from Abanca & Euro 6000.
- the Departure facilities with check-in counters, Aena information counter, and the Ruta Jacobea restaurant & security check for and gates 1 & 2 (with a few steps to your waiting airplane.
Level 1 is the boarding area housing gates 3 - 10. Passport control is at the entrance of gates 9-10. Ruta Jacobea Gourmet is near gates 5-6
