Villahermosa Rovirosa Perez VSA Airport Overview

Villahemosa Rovirosa Perez International Airport VSA serves the Mexican state of Tabasco on the Yucatan peninsula. It also offers the closest access to the Mayan ruins at Palenque. The Airport is being operated by Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste.

The Airport is located about 10 km west of the city center of Villahermosa, an urban center, located in Mexico's largest oil-producing region.  

With one runway and 960,094 passengers in 2012, Villahermosa International is served by domestic airlines offering direct flights within Mexico, and by United Airlnes with flights to Houston Intercontinental Airport, with connections worldwide.

NOTE: Operating hours are 7am-9pm. I is recommended that you arrive at the Airport  for domestic flights 2 hours, for international flights 3 hours before your scheduled flight.

The modern passenger terminal at Villahermosa Airport has been completely renovated a few years ago and offers food & drink establishments, and some shops & a duty-free shop. There is also the CENCA convenience store. . The terminal houses an Information counter for general and for tourist information. ATM machines are available fron Santander and Cardtronics.  Rental car counters are in the arrivals area.

Villahermosa International Airport has one parking lot close to the terminal for short- and long-term parking.

To get from Villahermosa Airport to your destination, you can rent a car, take a taxi or a shuttle bus.  If you drive, exit along the airport access road, go down the underpass staying to the right, continue on this road for another 9 miles to the Villahermosa city center.  It is highly recommended to only use the licensed taxis (Union, Puertos) in front of the terminal. Axis Transport offers shuttle services and ADO is the public bus serving the area.
