End of july we'll take plane from BRU to SFO with transfer at IAD. Both flights are one ticket. Two different carriers but in partnership. Two questions: 1/ in BRU they confirmed luggage will be immediately checked in for SFO. We will not see them at IAD. Is that correct because everywhere I read this is not possible when arriving in USA; 2/ arrival and new departure at IAD are 12:55 and 15:31 respectively. Is that realistic ? Thanks

Whoever you talked to at BRU is wrong. in IAD you will claim your bags to take them through US Customs, then re-check them at the re-check desk. You should have plenty of time.
I have a flight into IAD with a layover of just 1 hour, departing to NRT (Tokyo). Both flights were booked through United Airlines, although one is operated by MESA and the other Nippon. Will I be able to make my connecting flight?
Yes, that should be enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I will be flying from NRT, Tokyo to Washington Dulles Airport with a 1 hour 30 min layover to Charlotte, NC leaving from Terminal A. Will this be enough time to clear customs and immigrations to catch my flight to Charlotte?
IAD does not have a Terminal A. Are both flights on the same reservation? What airlines are you flying?
My flight times were changed and now we have only a 40 minute layover for an international flight. Arriving d15 and leaving c4. If our domestic flight is on time, can we make it? Do we just walk (rather run) between D and C? Thanks
Yes, all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I have a United flight from Europe, with a 2 hour connection time for a flight going on to Newark. On the return, the connection from Newark to the Europe flight is 1 hour 8 minutes. United will let me book it online, but will this give enough time for passport control, customs, security, etc.?
Yes, that is enough time. On the way back to Europe all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Flying from Chicago to Washington, arrive in Washington at 16h18 and connecting flight is at 17h40 to Johannesburg. Ticket on one reservation. Must I recheck luggage or will the bags be checked straight through to Johannesburg? Will the boarding pass for Johannesburg be issued at Chicago?
All you have to do at IAD is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Nothing with your bags. You have enough time.
Will be arriving IAD on UA1201 at 4:24pm and departing on SK 0926 at 5:15pm. It appears I will arrive at Concourse C and depart from Concourse B. First, how do I get between Concourses and second, can it be done in 51 minutes? Thank you.
You can take the Aerotrain or Mobile Lounge. It is possible if the first flight is on-time.
