Hi, I am considering buying a flight from KEF (Iceland) to IAD on a Sunday in February that arrives in IAD at 6:25 PM. I would then have a separate flight (not booked together) from IAD to CLT on American Air that leaves at 7:44 PM. I have Global Entry, but am curious as to whether this would allow me enough time to get from the international terminal to American's domestic terminal. Thank you for your insights.
IAD only has one terminal. However, that is not enough time to clear US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, and then re-check your bags with American and go through security. You could probably do it with global entry and no checked bags though IF the first flight is on-time.
My sister in law arriving at IAD from Portugal in Terminal C, with a connecting flight to Toronto out of Terminal A. Both tickets are on same booking with United Airlines. 1:40 connection time. Does she have to clear US customs? Will 1:40 connection time be enough?

IAD only has one terminal. She will go through US Immigration, claim her bags, go through US Customs, then re-check her bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to her departure gate. She has enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi there, I have a client who will be travelling from Pittsburgh to Dulles with and onward flight to London Heathrow. He has a connection time of 1 hr 3 mins. Is this enough time?
Yes, that is enough time if both flights are on the same reservation. All he has to do is go from his arrival gate to his departure gate.
Hi :) is 48 minutes enough time for a connection in IAD from Greensville, SC to Boston Logan? both flights are on United Airlines
Yes, that is enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi,

I'm flying from San Salvador arriving with Avianca at 20:10.

I have a flight with Turkish to Istanbul at 22:55.

Bag will be checked only to IAD.

Will it be enough time?
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi,

I'm arriving at Dulles at 15:35 on 17th Oct via Air Lingus from Dublin Ireland, and departing at 17:05 via United Airlines to Jacksonville. It's all under a single booking with Aer Lingus. Will this 1h30mins stop over be enough time to catch my next flight?

Also, since I will be pre cleared in Dublin under the ESTA, does this mean I do not have to collect and re check in my baggage? It is my understanding that if this is all under the one booking, the baggage will be interlined?

Cheers,
Dave
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do in IAD is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Your understanding is correct.
Flying 10/27 with United From Brussels to Denver with a stop in Washington IAD.
(United 591 and United 542). The layover is 1h56. I would like to know if I have to hurry to
be on time. I'm a Belgian, planning to bring a small backpack and suitcase (luggage). Also, before I check in, can I see which gate it is for Denver ?
Yes, that should be enough time. You can look up your departure gate on united.com the day of your flight, but it will be on the C/D concourse.
ZAP : Don’t know if you are one person or a group but your feedback is very helpfull! Thanks a lot!
You're welcome. I'm just one person.
Hi, my flight out of Dulles has been delayed so now it leaves at 6 35pm. My connection flight is in Newark and leaves at 9 pm. Apparently our flight from Dulles gets in at a C gate and my connecting flight is at an A gate. Will I make my connection?
What time does your flight ARRIVE in Newark? Are you talking about a connection in Newark or a connection at IAD? Your question is very confusing.
Hi, Looking to book a flight from London to New Orleans, however connection time is 1hr 35 Mins. Will this be enough?
That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly and both flights are on United.
