It looks like I get into gate d8 and leave from a3e but I don't see that gate listed on airport maps on united app. I have 50 minutes. Are there signs to point me to busses to take me to other gate and will I make it?
Yes, there are signs. You should have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Hello, I will fly from SFO to YYZ with United Airline but there is a layover at IAD with only 1 hour 46 mins. I am Canadian, so do I need to clear customs first or can I go straight to my departure gate for my connecting flight? If I can go directly to the departure gate, will there be enough time to walk over? Thank you.
There is no US Customs when leaving the US. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You should have plenty of time.
I'm thinking of booking a flight from New York to Savannah, Georgia. There is one stop with only a 35-minute connection at the Washington Dulles Airport (first flight gets in at 11:50am, second flight departs at 12:25pm). How large is this airport? Do you think this will be enough time?
The airport is not that large, but such a short connection time doesn't leave any time to spare if the flight from New York is delayed.
So my flight lands at 14.55 and my next flight is at 17.25. I bought my flights separately and I'm afraid I wont make the second one, if the customs process is really slow. Is 2,5hours too little layover time for a non-citizen traveler?
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I'm flying united cle to orf with Dulles stop thanksgiving. I have a 57 minute window. Looking at flight status and I see most flights get in at a gate and leave for orf from d30 which looks like a lot of ground to cover. Where do I go to get there quickly when I get off plane in a? Also notice a lot of the flights from iad - orf leave early. Can they leave early and just stick me? There's only a couple flights that day to orf so I'm anxious. Thanks for any help.
C/D isn't really that big. Usually they only leave early if everybody is on-board.
When I get off plane at a gate, what signs am I looking for to get to d gate (or d gate to a gate)? Do I want mobile lounge or train? Thanks for your help.
C and D are literally just two ends of the same building. You just have to walk.
Thank you but I'm sure I'm getting in at the A gate and will have to go to D gate so just wondering if I should take mobile lounge or train and what signs should I look for. Thank you😀
