Departing from New Orleans, MSY, on United, connecting to SAS international flight at IAD.
1 hr. 11 minutes to complete transfer to SAS. (luggage should be checked in to Int'l destination.)
Will there be enough time to make the international flight?
Yes, that should be enough time. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate on the aerotrain or mobile lounge.
Thank you. Taking into consideration, all the variables
of flights departing and connecting on time, this is very reassuring.
I will be traveling into IAD on a Saturday with a 1 hour and 6 min layover before I catch the red eye to Munich. Is 1:06 enough to make the connection? Both flights are United.
Where are you flying into IAD from?
Newark EWR

I am flying from RDU to IAD (arriving at Gate D11) and then flying to LHR (departing from Gate C12). All flights are on United. The layover is only 1 hour and 10 minutes. As long as my flight from RDU arrives on time, will I be able to make my connection? I haven't flown in over 20 years, so I'm a little nervous about it! :) Thank you
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thanks for the feedback! That makes me feel better
I have a United flight from Albany to IAD at 14:50 arriving at 16:20

Then I have one hour (exactly) to transfer to another United flight to Amsterdam at 17:20. Unfortunately, these two are different bookings.

This craze was created because I need to be in a morning meeting at Albany finishing midday and me also having to get to Amsterdam by morning for a conference.

Is this doable??

Many thanks in advance for your help!!!
Do you have checked bags? If you do you'll have to show your Amsterdam confirmation to the agent in Albany and hope they can check your bags through to Amsterdam, otherwise you have no chance. If your bags are checked through and you have both boarding passes, you can make it.
Hi, I am looking at flights to travel with carry-on only from Columbia CAE to Newark Liberty Intl. with a 40 min lay over inWashington Dulles IAD. Is this doable? if yes how easily? What should I be aware of?
Yes, that's doable but it leaves no time to spare.
arriving aer lingus with pre clearance bagage checked through Going to raleigh durham with united What gates and time needed to complete Any info gratefully received
You arrive in A or B and depart from C or D. If you have an hour that should be enough time.
I am flying from O'hare to IAD on United, and the from IAD to Bogota, Columbia on Avianca. The layover is 3 hr and 14 min. Will that be enough time? My wife and I are also bringing our 1 and 3 year old.
Yes, that is plenty of time. If both flights are on the same reservation then you just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Flying into Dulles on a United Express with 1 hr 12 min layover to pick up connecting flight to Seattle, also on United. First flight is scheduled to arrive in Dulles at 7:15 on Saturday morning. Connecting flight leaves at 8:30. Looking at maps, looks like we will need to go between Concourse A and D. Is this enough time? Suggestions on best way to get there? Thanks for the help.
Take the AeroTrain or Mobile Lounge. You have enough time.
I will arrive at Dulles from LAX with United at 7:15pm, gates C or D. Will have to claim my bag and recheck it for my 9:05pm departure to Paris by Air France. 1h50min time for this. Is it doable?
If it's two separate reservations, then yes, you have to go to the main terminal, claim your bags, re-check them with Air France, go through security and to your departure gate. That is a very difficult connection.
What do you mean by very diffcult connection? How long are the distances? What is the worst case scenario? Thanks for the fast reply!
It is difficult because you have to go to the main terminal, (takes 10-20 minutes), claim your bags (10 minutes), re-check them with Air France (10-20 minutes). At that point you've used up maybe 50 minutes and therefore have just an hour to get through security and to your gate and board your flight. And again, this is if everything goes smoothly.
This is about my gf, we arrive together at Dulles at 7:15pm but leave with different flights to Europe. I will have over 3h to do the same operations. Can I claim her bag and check it with Air France to win some time?
Could you please answer the question below? Thank you!

I am flying domestic to Washington with united airlines with a 1 hour layover for a connecting flight also with United Airlines to Dublin. Will 1 hour be enough? Also will I have to collect my bag and check it in again? The flights are under one reservation.
All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
