Hello I was about to book a United flight from lisbon to toronto with a layover of an hour and a half at Washington Airport. Will the hour and a half be enough time to catch my flight to toronto?
Yes, that should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I am about to book a flight from LAX through Brussels that has me changing planes in Dulles.
There is only an hour and ten minutes to connect. Do I have to go through customs and security again if I am traveling on United for both flights? If so, will I make it? Here's the conneciton:

Layover 1h 10m stop
in Washington (IAD)
3:40pm
to
6:08pm
5h 28m
From Washington Dulles Intl. (IAD)
To Los Angeles Intl. (LAX)
United 894
Boeing 737-900 | Food For Purchase | 90 % on time
Economy/Coach (K)
So you're going BRU-IAD-LAX? If so only 70 minutes in IAD is probably not enough time. 70 minutes would be enough time on LAX-IAD-BRU since there is no US customs when leaving the US.
I will be on same airline -- United all the way through. I am told it makes a difference but folks could be wrong. I will check again. AR
Hi, will arrive on 17. Sept with OS 93 at 2:40 pm and thinking about to book an additional flight with UA 4777 at 5:21 pm to ORF. It this enough time doing immigration, checking in baggage again and catch the flight ? thanks
Yes, that should be enough time.
How much time do we need for flight connections for International to a domestic service. Flight is coming in from London and arriving at 14.35 (Virgin) and we want to take a flight to Charlotte with American Airlines from 17.00. Is this realistic?
That is barely enough time if everything goes smoothly.
We are arriving from Brussels to IAD and connecting to a united express to Austin. Will we have to claim bags and checkin again or will it be like going from united to United and just go to our departure gate?
Yes, you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. You do this because you are entering the US at IAD, not because the second flight is United Express.
I've seen some answers like this "IAD only has one terminal. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate at IAD. You have plenty of time. Both flights will be on the C/D concourse." so why would landing at IAD cause us to claim bags, etc. hopefully I don't sound petty. Just trying to understand the rules. Thank you.
Flying business class on KLM out of AMS arriving IAD at 335PM. My departing flight is in first class on United from IAD to RDU is at 514PM. I will have a checked bag. I have Global Entry. Is this enough time?
With global entry and being first off the plane, you should have barely enough time. Check in online for your United flight before leaving Amsterdam.
hi.
I'm traviling from Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) to Ottawa ( one reservation)my flight plane as:
-from Jeddah to IAD by Saudi Airline
-from IAD to Ottawa by Air Canada (operated by united express/mesa. ). What's the transfer process?
Does I need to pick up my bags?

Thanks
You will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate.
I'm flying in on American from Sao Paolo, Brazil and will land with just under 2 hours between flights. Will that be enough time to go through passport control, p/u my checked luggage, go through customs and still make my next flight?
American doesn't fly from Sao Paulo to Washington DC. Please double check your reservation.
Hello,

my Colombian Wife will take a flight from Cartagena, Colombia to Paris, France and with have a Stopover in IAD.

She will arrive with Copa Airlines and leave with United Airlines which is booked with United (Codeshare).

Will they move the baggage to the new plane without her needing to do baggage reclaim?
Will she need to do Immigration (no ESTA as Colombian)?

Cheers and thanks a lot,
Tobi
She will have to claim her bags, take them through US customs, and re-check them at IAD.
Hi, I'm flying to San Fran with United through IAD from Barcelona. It doesn't say which terminal in IAD. I arrive at 14.15 and leave for my connection flight at 16.30. Will I have enough time to go through security? My nationality is Irish and I have flights booked to leave 10 days later.
IAD only has one terminal. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate at IAD. You have plenty of time. Both flights will be on the C/D concourse.
