My return journey from Orlando MCO to London with a 1 hour stop at IAD. I am flying with United for both flights. Is this enough time? Its a late evening flight. As its the same airline will I have to reclaim my luggage and check in whilst at IAD or is it a simple go from arrivals to my departure area?
That is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I am flying in from Narita (UA 804) arriving IAD 3:40pm. Worried about going thru immigration/US Custom with one checked bag (I am a US citizen, not sure it this will speed up?), re-echeck in and take the shuttle to my connecting flight back to Philadelphia in D gate at 5pm. Is the connection time of 1 hour 20 minutes enough?
Being a US Citizen does speed up immigration. You have enough time if the flight from Tokyo is on-time.
July 11, arriving from AMS with UA at 2.35 pm, on to Den with UA departure 4.08 pm. Checked luggage and visiting so will need to go thru immigration. Also have asked for wheelchair assistance due to mobility issues. Will we have enough time?
That should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Is a 1 hour and 15-minute layover through IAD arriving from London enough time? It is a United flight
*Meant to add that I will not have a checked bag and have Mobile Passport
That's very difficult but not impossible if everything goes perfectly, especially with no checked bags.
I am flying from Dublin to Dulles and then onto Las Vegas McCarran with United Airlines. Is 2 hours 15 minutes sufficient connection time?
Yes, that is plenty of time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Dublin so all you have to do at IAD is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
On Mon, May 1, I'm set to arrive on a UA flight from Paris at 2:50 pm. My flight to Denver is also UA, leaving at 4:15 (total layover is 1 hour 25 min).Is this enough time to clear customs? I will likely have 1 checked bag. I am a US citizen.
That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi, I am travelling from Toronto (YYZ) to Kigali (KGL) transiting through Washington (IAD) we arrive IAD on an air Canada flight 09:15 and depart on an Ethiopian airlines flight at 10:00 will 45minutes be enough time? We are not US citizens. Thank you
You will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Toronto. however, that is still barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
My original flight With United from DTW to Newark -Belfast Ireland on Feb 15th was cancelled so they rebooked me through IAD. The connecting time is 2 hours and I am traveling with my special needs daughter who is in her wheelchair. Connecting time on return is 1.5 hours. I'm very concerned that this is not enough time either way for my to navigate this airport pushing a wheelchair.
That is plenty of time on the way to Europe. On the way back it's a bit more difficult.
I land in terminal A and depart terminal C. The connection time is 53 minutes. Provided my initial flight is on time, is 53 minutes adequate to make the next flight? Do I have to pass through security?
A and C are just concourses not terminals and they are connected inside security. If your first flight is domestic that is enough time.
In May, I will be flying from Narita to IAD on ANA. It will arrives at 10:40 am and leave for RDU on United at 12:30 pm. So, I got about 1 hr 50 min between connection. Tickets are on 1 reservation. Does this seems like enough time to get through immigration and everything to make a connection? Thank you
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
