Arriving from Vienna on Austrian at 2:15pm and connecting on United to San Francisco at 3:41pm. Is 1:26 enough with all the non-citizens security checks? Thank you!
No, that's not enough time for an international to domestic connection at IAD unless your flight from Vienna arrives early.
What's the minimum to have a chance? Thanks!
If you had 10 more minutes I'd feel significantly better about your chances. If you had a half hour more I'd feel a lot better.
We are flying on UA6191 arriving at3:54 and need to make a 5:50 flight to Zurich UA52. Will we have any difficulty making this connection?
That should be plenty of time.
PVD-IAD-STL (connecting UA6021 to UA6012) I see IAD have gates A and C. and my layover is only 46 mins.. I will be traveling with a 2 year old. Is this doable?...thanks!!
It is possible if the flight from Providence is on-time.
Arriving on either JetBlue or USAir from PIT with connection at IAD to JAX...is one hour enough time to make my connection?
Jetblue and US Airways do not fly from Pittsburgh to IAD and only United flies from IAD to Jacksonville. Please double check the flights you are being offered.
Arriving from LHR on United connecting on United to CVG. 1 hr. 35 min. connection time enough?
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Thanks, I changed it to another connection anyway just to be sure
Is this enough time? What terminal does the Portland flight come in to?
Yes, that is enough time. IAD only has one terminal - all gates are connected inside security. Are you coming from Portland, Maine or Oregon? Is your Frankfurt flight operated by United or Lufthansa?
Portland Oregon and United

I'm travelling to South Africa in January 2017. I'm flying from Atlanta to IAD with United airlines (Domestic) and then I get on South African Airways to get from IAD to Cape Town (International.) I land at IAD at 4:16 pm at the domestic terminal. My flight to Cape Town leaves at 5:40 pm. That only gives me 1hr 24mins layover, is that enough time to get to international from domestic? Where do I have to go to get to the other terminal and do I have to go through security at IAD or in Atlanta?
There is no "domestic" and "International" terminals at IAD. You will go through security in Atlanta. If both flights are on the same reservation then all you have to do in IAD is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, which will likely be on different concourses but are connected inside security by the Aerotrain. You should have enough time if the flight from Atlanta is on-time.
What happens if both flights from Atlanta and from iAd to Cape Town are on different reservation?
Hi,
We well arrive with SAS SK925 from CPH (3:15pm) on the 28th of November. We then have booked a separate ticket to fly with United to New Orleans (17:35.) I did this booking on the count of flydulles.com listing United as an airline I could do an internal transfer/easy luggage check in after customs with. Please can you confirm and tell me if this will be sufficient transit time?
That is enough time. You can ask the SAS agent in copenhagen to check your bags through to MSY by showing them your United confirmation. If they don't you will have to take your bags to the United check-in desk to re-check your bags in Dulles. Even if your bags are tagged through to MSY in Copenhagen you will still have to claim your bags in Dulles to go through US Customs.
I'm arriving AA carrying luggage. How do I get to Lufthansa counter from AA arrival gates.
You go to the main terminal on the aerotrain, claim your bags in the baggage claim then go up to the departure level and to the Lufthansa counter.
Hi, I will be arriving on United 127 from dublin ireland and departing on United 251 to Portland, will 2 hours be enough time? i will have cleared US immigration in Dublin
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate both in the C/D concourse.
thank you
