I'm bought tickets to fly to Manila (MNL) with United. So My flights are TPA to IAD layover 1hr 30mins, Transfer to IAD to NRT with United.
Arrive at NRT, I have to transfer to Nippo airlines to fly to MNL. Layover time 1hr 50 mins.
Is that enough time to get to my connection flights?
Yes, all those connection times are sufficient.
I will be flying from Raleigh-Durham RDU to Washington Dulles IAD on United on May 9th. I bought this ticket as a one-way ticket; then, I bought a separate ticket from IAD to Munich MUC on the same day (flying with Lufthansa). Do I have to leave the terminal after arriving from RDU and then checking in at IAD as if I were just arriving to the airport? Or, can I present my itinerary to Munich to a gate attendant in order to be issued a boarding pass from IAD to Munich?
The United agent in Raleigh Durham should be able to take care of everything for you, but if they can't, then yes, in IAD you will have to exit security, claim your checked bags if you have them, re-check in with lufthansa, and go through security.
Traveling from Pittsburgh, PA to San Juan on 5\27\17 with a 50 minute layover at Dulles. Is 50 minute long enough if I need to change gates/terminals/concourse? Thanks.
Yes, that should be enough time if the flight from Pittsburgh is on-time.
I am looking at connection times for 04/27/2017 United flight from Birmingham GB to Fayetteville NC. Arrives EWR at 12 pm and departs for IAD at 2:59 pm. Arrives IAD 4:22 pm and departs for FAY at 5:15 pm and is last United flight to FAY for the day. Is there enough time to make each connection?
Yes, those connection times are sufficient. They put in a lot of padding on the EWR-IAD flight. It only takes about 30-40 minutes in the air.
Thank you. Wanted to be sure 53 minutes at IAD was enough connection time.
Yes, it should be enough time.
Please,, wondering if 50 minutes is enough time given that i am flying from Minneapolis to Washington then from washington to dublin with 50 minutes lay over ,,all though united airlines ? Many thanks
Yes, that should be enough time. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Arriving at IAD on American and need to connect to Air France for 5:45 p.m. flight to CDG. I'll have a carry-on.
1. What is the transportation from terminal to terminal at IAD? Is there a train that will take me to the AF terminal?
2. Will I have to go through security when I arrive at the AF terminal or just go to my new gate at AF?
3. Any general idea of how much time I should allow for this?
IAD only has one Terminal. since you don't have any checked bags all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both on the A/B concourse. If you aren't able to check in online for your Air France flight you'll have to get it from the Air France gate. I'd want 60-90 minutes.
Arriving from MSY at 9:20pm with the connection to YUL at 10pm. Both flights are with united. Is 40m layover enough time including getting the gate-checked hand-carry item? Thanks
Yes, that should be enough time if the flight from New Orleans is on-time.
I am arriving from Cleveland and going to Frankfurt via IAD. My connection time is 50 mins. Will I be able to make the connection?
Both flights are on a single ticket (United Airlines)
Need some advice. My kid is on school trip, arrive Dulles on Avianca Air and connection is on United (2 separate tickets). She has 3 hours in between and I was told by both airlines that when she checks in in at Managua, Nicaragua she can give them her UA ticket # and they will check her bag to final destination as both are part of star alliance. Am I being told the truth? Kid is 18 years old and her 5pm flight home out of Dulles is last flight of the day. being stranded in Dulles is not an option
Anil, You have enough time - all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Lokin, Yes, that is the truth, but your kid will still have to claim their bag in Dulles to take it through US Customs. However, if it's tagged through to your final destination, they can then drop it at the re-check desk right after instead of having to take it to the United ticket counter afterwards.
Hi! I am flying from Johannesburg to Dulles on SA209 landing at 06:25. My connection to New Orleans departs at 8:35 (United Airlines UA6031). Is that enough time to make the connection? Do I need to clear customs in Dulles?
Yes, that is enough time. Yes, in Dulles you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate.
i will fly back from Paris to IAD arriving 3:45 PM and connecting flight leaves 5:28 PM . Will that be enough to clear custom , claim luggage then get on connecting flight? Both legs are Delta flights
Your first flight will be operated by Air France. That is just enough time if everything goes perfectly.
