Hi ,
I am flying into IAD on 12/04. I only have 1 hour layover time to get a connecting International flight to Japan. Do I have to go through security again? Is 1 hour enough for my connecting flight?
If both flights are on the same reservation you don't have to go through security again and you have enough time.
Thank you very much!
Hi. I'm flying from Houston to Zurich via IAD w/o bags with 45 minutes between United flights. Assuming the flight lands on time, which gates would I probably land near and leave from and can I make it? thanks,
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time. Both flights will be in Concourse C/D.
I am flying Houston IAH to Brussels via IAD on United. I know bags will be checked through, but will i have to go through TSA checkpoint in Washington?
No, you will not have to go through security at IAD. Just walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Connection from Denver to Johannesburg with United Airlines
Do you have a question?
On 10/1, I am arriving on United 4646 at 15:56. I am flying out on Austrian OS94 at 17:05. Will the bags go directly (they should, it is all part of United Partner). Is that sufficient time for me to get from my arrival to departure flight? Thank you.
Yes, your bags should go straight through. Yes, that is enough time.
I'll be flying in from JAX and it looks like will have to change terminals for my flight to PVD. I have about a 1 hour layover and it appears that I will have to change terminals. Will that be enough time to get from Terminal C to Terminal A?
IAD only has one terminal, so you don't have to change terminals. A and C are concourses. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Hi, I am flying into IAD from Frankfurt on Saturday 12/02 on United flight 933 at 8:05 PM and have a 2 hour window before i have to get on my next United flight 988 at 10:20 to Pittsburgh. I am traveling with Latvian passport. Will 2 hours be enough time to clear customs and get to my next flight (per United arlines my bags will be transferred to the final destination - Pittsburgh so i won't have to pick them up in IAD). Thank you!
You will have to claim your bags in IAD to take them through US Customs - whoever you talked to doesn't know what they're talking about. You should have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Thanks for the reply! I may have to change from "C" to "A" so I assume there is either a train or a bus.
I am flying into Dulles from Dublin, Ireland. Need to know if 1 hour 40 minutes is enough time to make my connecting flight from IAD to SAT? Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you!
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Dublin. All you have to do in IAD if both flights are on the same reservation is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if that's the case.
Thank you! Appreciate the response!
Departing from New Orleans, MSY, on United, connecting to SAS international flight at IAD.
1 hr. 11 minutes to complete transfer to SAS. (luggage should be checked in to Int'l destination.)
Will there be enough time to make the international flight?
Yes, that should be enough time. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate on the aerotrain or mobile lounge.
Thank you. Taking into consideration, all the variables
of flights departing and connecting on time, this is very reassuring.
I will be traveling into IAD on a Saturday with a 1 hour and 6 min layover before I catch the red eye to Munich. Is 1:06 enough to make the connection? Both flights are United.
Where are you flying into IAD from?
