Hi. I am arriving on united from zuric at 3:20 on 26th july and have connecting flight to greemvile sc at 5:05. Would this be enough time as have to go thru immigration as well. Also are baggage and immigration counters nearby
Yes, that is just enough time if everything goes smoothly. The Baggage re-check desk is right after you clear customs.
Hello, I am travelling from Cincinnati to Brussels on saturday july 29 with a transfer in IAD. I have an Italian passport and carry on luggage only. Both flights are with United: the domestic flight arrives at 16.25 and the international flight leaves at 17.40. Is this enough time? Will I need to do any security or passport checks at IAD? Thanks for the help!
All you have to do in IAD is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is no US Customs when leaving the US. You have enough time.
hi! We are flying in august to Canada and we will be in transit in IAD. We fly from Barcelona to IAD with United and with Air Canada from IAD to Montreal. I think we will arrive in terminal C and the second plane will probably take off from terminal Z. Will we have to recheck our luggage? The tickets were selled together. The layover is short, we will only have 1h25 minutes to get to the other plane. Will it be enough?
Yes, that is just enough time if the first flight is on-time. You have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate.
Thank you soooo much! I was really worried about not making it on time for the next flight.
Hello. My colleage is flying from MEX to CDG on Sept 2, 2017 making a short connection (2H15M) in IAD at 15.10pm and leaving at 17.25pm. Do you think she will have enough time to make it to the following flight considering the new regulations on revisions and all that?
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly. There are no new regulations.
Flying from Syracuse to Dulles on Delta and connecting to Air France to Paris. 2 hr 20 minute layover if Delta plane is on time. Is that enough? If bags are checked on a Delta will they transfer them to Air France or do you need to retrieve them and check them on Air France?
Delta does not fly from Syracuse to Dulles. Please double check your reservation.
On August 2nd I'll be flying out of Buffalo, NY to Fresno, CA via D.C. and then LA. My layover in D.C. (Dulles) is only 40 minutes, and my entire trip is via United Airlines. Having looked at the IAD airport map, I know that United flights arrive in and depart from concourses C and D, so I won't need to transfer terminals any way other than by foot. My question is, providing the flights are on time, how long does it take to walk from C to D maximum? I'm nervous about missing my connection, and am trying to plan ahead as much as I possibly can.
Hi. I will be connecting from LGA through IAD to Frankfurt, both on United. For various reasons these are on separate tickets. I have 1h 19 mins with carry on baggage only and I will check into my international flight (IAD to FRA) ahead of time. I have a Canadian passport (with Global Entry & TSA pre-check) but am spending time in NYC prior to these flights. Will this be enough time?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
