• WLG Airport Overview
  Wellington International Airport Limited is one of the three largest airports in New Zealand and is famous for the beautiful views from its picture windows located throughout the entire facility. The airport is efficient and relaxed at the same time and offers its visitors fast service and varied restaurants and shops complete with gift wrapping. Since the popularity of the recent Lord of the Rings movies filmed in the nearby countryside, the airport also displays film sets and costumes from the movies, as well as a huge Gollum figure holding his precious ring placed on the roof of the airport itself and visible for miles.
