  • 1 hour layover enough to clear customs

I will be flying from Costa Rica to Hobby with jus 1 hour layover to clear customs and connect to San Diego. Will this be enough time? I am afraid to lose the connection due to slow customs

That should be enough time. HOU is a small airport and immigration and customs there is pretty much never crowded and the checkpoint is brand new.

We are coming in from Cabo on Southwest and connecting to Boston with a 1 1/2hr layover. Is that enough time to get through customs, recheck bags and make the gate before boarding?

Yes, that should be enough time.

Hello. I am arriving from Cancun to HOU and have a one hour layover for my connection to Las Vegas. Is one hour enough time to transfer to my connection and would i need to check my bags in again at HOU ? im flying Southwest both flights.

Yes, you will have to claim your bags, go through US Customs, and re-check your bags at the re-check desk. You should have just enough time.

After getting luggage and clearing customs, need to know exactly where the escalator is located so that you just go directly to your connecting gate and do not have to re-check in at ticket counter. Any type of location marker would be great to know.

The Immigration hall at HOU is not large. It shouldn't be hard to find.

Had breakfast. slow service. breakfast menu was limited but seemed decent. I ordered breakfast club. husband ordered breakfast platter. coffee was served cold. food was not good. this might be a good place for wings but it is not the place for breakfast.

where is Gate 3? I have 35 mins to get to Gate 50

Gate 3 is at the base of the terminal - it is visible in this graphic produced by the airport authority. It will probably take about 10 minutes to walk to gate 50. http://system.gocampaign.com/netisd_org/images/imagelibrary/620/74/7529/541944-HOU%20PHASE%202%20Terminal%20Directory%20updated%209-24-15.pdf

is 52 mins between flights enough time to get from where commuter flights from Greenville, SC arrives to where flight to Denver, CO takes off (767-8)?

What airline are you flying? If both flights are on Southwest all gates are together, HOU is not a large airport. If you are flying United then your flights will be at IAH, not HOU.

I have 20 minutes max to get from 50 to 20 due to a flight delay. Is this enough time or should I just accept that I am driving from Houston?

HOU is a small airport. You can make that connection.

I am arriving at Terminal E on Singapore airlines at 1405 and taking a UA flight at 1559 to Boston. Is that enough time ? I have 1 check in bag. Should I take the train or Walk to terminal C?

Yes, that should be enough time. It's probably best to walk. You will actually arrive in Terminal D.

Also, note that you posted this in the Houston Hobby section. Singapore Airlines and United fly to Houston Intercontinental (IAH) not Houston Hobby (HOU).
